Cedar Cottage accommodation quality is fair and over priced for its condition and state of repair.

Location was on a road that was fairly busy with traffic. Traffic noise at night did not disrupt our sleep. Bed was fairly comfortable.

An older cottage that has had some upgrades. Out party considered the overall condition is fair. The shower is over bath and is challenging to access as the step in is over a wide, tiled plinth that supports and surrounds the bath. We were a group of three with two people over 70 years old who are mobile and fit however we felt that access to the shower was a risk. The bathroom door lock did not work and the door only stayed shut by a hook and eye type latch; less than ideal. We could smell cigarette smoke and then found a packet of cigarettes in a kitchen cupboard!! Very poor attention to detail.

Lovely cottage for weekend getaway

The cottage is super cute and was exactly what we needed for our stay. The location is close to everything we wanted. The cottage was impeccably clean. The kitchen facilities were well stocked in terms of crockery, cutlery, and glassware. Plenty of powerpoints. We loved the Christmas tree, which was a lovely surprise. The beds are incredibly comfortable. Fans and air-conditioninginthebedrooms worked well.. I would definitely stay here again.

We would have liked to have had bedside table lamps in the bedrooms. The bathroom was very clean and functional, and would benefit from a bit of an update.

Our stay at Cedar Cottage was great - handy and homely.

Cedar cottage is private, cosey, unique and homely. Handy location. I really liked the kindness shown by the contact person. He sounded as though he actually cared about us and our stay, providing information and support without me feeling like an inconvenience.

More accessible shower would have been nice especially with children.

Good for a short stay, but watch out for the front steps!

Good Location and Good set up. The beds were comfortable and the place was clean & tidy.

I never received any information regarding how to gain access to the property. I was feeling anxious on arrival as my message went unanswered. It was just luck that I ran into the cleaner or owner on arrival who was still cleaning at 15mins before our check in. Whether it was because we had arrived early or not, but we didn’t receive a bath mat or washers. Kitchen needs more sponges or wipes, paper towel and knife needs sharpening.

we enjoyed watching Netflix

the lounge was uncomfortable and hard. was nothing special for the $270 for the one night stay. the coffee tasted like dirt :( was no other choice other then the coffee machine coffee a couple of sachets would have been good we usually take our own coffee but thought there would be coffee there for the cost. the plastic blinds out the front banged all night and would wake us up.

for a cosy stay

Awesome location just 1 min drive away from a shop gallery, cafes, distillery and wineries. Really cosy house and it has almost everything you need for a short stay or even longer - Air con in each room, kitchen, coffee machine, stove, kettle, wi-fi, TV with Netflix etc. Tricky code locker, but clear instructions on how to use it. We would ask for paper towels only. The rest are nice. Highly recommend it for a family stay.

Lovely place to stay

The cottage was all we needed. I loved the lead lights in this house - so pretty. Beds were comfy and location was perfect. Had a little trouble opening the door for the first time but that was quickly resolved.

Charming cottage with some modern additions. New kitchen and felt fresh and comfortable. Bathroom could do with a small update to avoid as much water pooling. Great location for a wedding on the Mountain

It was close to the Wedding venue we were attending but also close to the shops & village amenities.

The bathroom was not appropriate for us older folk. As the shower was above the bath it was difficult to climb over the rim of the bath, which was very wide and high.

My mum found it difficult to get into the bath, and needed to place a towel over the bath edge. Mum absolutely loved her stay and was just a bit worried about the lock on the door if she needed assistance in a hurry.

Very cosy and clean cottage. Would be ok for a younger couple.

The shower over the bath was not easily accessible and we had 2 elderly people staying. Advert didn't mention another accommodation directly beside the accommodation. The clearance on the stairs was very low.

Clean, tidy, well priced with good facilities. Perfect for families.

Clean and tidy, the Cedar cottage is a great stay for families. Full kitchen and plenty of room down stairs. Upstairs the two bedrooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. Although some of the fixtures are a bit dated the whole property is well presented.

It was perfect for us but would not be good for anyone that can’t get up and down stairs or has trouble getting into a shower bath. I also didn’t like the height of the shower head (too high) and there is no aircon upstairs (but there are ceiling fans in both rooms).

Electric lock on front door. Twice when opening the door from the inside, somehow the alarm was activated in the lock. It went for 5 mins each time.

A wonderful Mount Tambourine cottage stay.

Was the perfect location to access Gallery Walk and short drive to many other great locations on Mount Tambourine. The home was very quaint and clean and accommodated our family well (2 adults and 2 teenage children). The thoughtful hosts left starting milk, coffee / tea, biscuits and a selection of toiletries.
