A really nice getaway by the beach

The apartments are very pleasant, located in a quiet, attractive area close to the pebble and sand beach. The main room was spacious, the kitchenette, shower room and balcony all small but usable. The kitchen equipment was minimalist. Air con was the quietest we have experienced and effective. The bed was a good size and OK. On arrival (in the dark) the rough gravel approach road was a bit worrying - the turnoff is on a bend on the main road, with a challenging camber - typically Greek! When we arrived there was no-one to greet us, but we popped round to the adjacent (excellent) taverna and they were expecting us and helped out, no problem. The apartments are an easy walk to the village which has basic shops and a run of nice tavernas. Katelios is in a quiet part of the island and we would recommend having transport. Skala, Poros and nice beaches along the South Coast are in easy reach. Our flight home was late night and Adriana (daughter of the owner) arranged for us to stay a few extra hours to shower before leaving - very helpful. Will we stay here again? Quite possibly - it's good value.

The balcony and kitchen are quite small, and the kitchen not well equipped apart from the essentials, but at this price point still good value overall. Katelios is a long drive from the north of the island so not ideal if you want to do a full tour. There is however plenty to enjoy for a week in the south.

Ok but there’s better

The property was clean and had good parking.

The owner was in a rush and barely said hello. We chose to stay the next 2 nights in another property that was on a better location, had a bigger room and was cheaper

Disappointing. Once we noticed how dirty it was we felt we couldn’t stay so left the next morning. We did not see the st

The location is walkable to the village and the sea is just at the end of the grounds of the property.

The room was not clean. The shower still had hair in the drain and there was already toilet paper in the toilet bin! There was a tissue under the bed and dust etc on the floor.

Nice for a short stay

The room really felt like a dream. It was clean and quiet. The location is very secluded, only one small restaurant in the vicinity and access with unpaved road to the lot.

The bed was quite hard, the water pipes were making funny noises and it was harder to fall asleep. Water boiler had a lot of scale in it, I think we got some in our coffee.

No breakfast included. Taverna virtually next door did serve it, bur we only ate there on evenings. It was very good!

No owner to greet us, but the Taverna owner directed us to our room. Next day on the beach we were texted by the owners daughter to say we were in the wrong room and to take our stuff out! Went back to the apartment twice to try and see someone, no one there!! Eventually the people who were supposed to be in the apartment we had occupied agreed to let us stay there for our week and they went into it when we left. So thank you to them, but perhaps the owners need to sort out their administration!!

little improvements will make this studio a really excellent place in its range of price.

The location. We love small studios on the beach. and we loved the taverna on the property. good food, great view, peaceful and friendly staff.

the air conditioning was really noisy and the kitchen provided only a few spared plates and glasses. there was a strainer but not a pan. not even a useful knife. the knives provided did not cut.

Location, price, quality of the accommodation and generosity of the hosts make this the perfect stay

We had a fridge full of breakfast items, some fruit and tea and coffee provided on arrival - almost enough to last us the week. A really unexpected and generous treat. Our hosts were friendly, generous and really welcoming.
