About this house rental
Fully updated one-level home within a couple of blocks of shopping and restaurants, close to OSU, Samaritan Hospital and Aquatic Center. Fully furnished with modern furniture, Internet and TV. Sleeps 5, with two queen beds and dressers in two separate bedrooms, a living room with two sofas. In addition, fully equipped office with sofa chair, desks, internet and printer option. Granite countertops in kitchen with oak cabinets, modern appliances including range, dishwasher and refrigerator, open to dining room. Two sliding doors to huge deck and fully fenced backyard, well planted gardens and lawn and seasonal blooms.

Very clean, comfortable and spacious house with a beautiful outdoor deck in the backyard.
Great location to OSU campus and downtown Corvallis. We would love to stay here again when we come back to Corvallis!

The property was very nice, comfortable and perfect location for our trip. However the online description was far from accurate. First there was no pool as stated on line. Also it said it slept 6 adults. It really only slept 4 adults. The couch and loveseat could sleep 2 if they were small adults or children. Also there was no communication from host on check-out procedure or anything posted.

The house was clean and cozy. One thing I would not advertise is the house having a “pool”. It’s a hot tub that does not heat with dirty, stagnant water. The backyard is beautiful and very relaxing!

I stayed at Hong & Sam's property with my son who was taking the college tours of OSU and U of O. Hosts were easy to reach via text and were very helpful. This home was perfect for us, so comfortable and convenient for everything we wanted to do. I wish we had been visiting in summer to enjoy the big backyard with bbq and outdoor seating more. Kitchen had everything we needed to stay in and cook, bedrooms were comfy, and there's even an office. Location felt very central and easy for us to get to the grocery store, downtown shops, campus, etc. We drove a lot but I could imagine bringing bicycles to explore more and walking nearby if we had been in town for longer. If the kiddo ends up going to OSU, I'm sure we'll be back!

Pros: clean, very comfortable beds, comfortable furniture, beautiful backyard, convenient location
Cons: we did not receive check in information with our confirmation email. It simply said to contact the host. We contacted the host the day of check in and waited 5 hours with no response. We contacted the host again about an hour before check in and still no response. We had to spend about 45 minutes online with a VRBO agent and then the host finally texted me the check in info. We went to the house to check in and the code didn’t work. The host called me and we got it all worked out and finally got in the house. The house also has some pretty crazy electrical issues. When we woke up the first morning, we had no overhead lights in the kitchen or bathroom, and we had to find the breaker box to flip the breaker. We also ran out of the one roll of toilet paper provided, and there was no extra in the house. With some better communication about check in and restocking of basic supplies, this would be a better experience.

This house is a perfect place, inside and out. Clean, easy to find, close to everything. Perfect for our family to see our Grandson wrestling in the PAC 12 Championship at Oregon State where he is on the wrestling team. Then come to this wonderful house for us to visit from the crowd. If we could give 10 stars we would.

The house was perfect for our needs for the weekend. Close to where we needed to be, quiet, comfortable and clean. All the amenities were as listed and described. The hosts were even gracious enough to accommodate us with a later checkout than usual which was incredibly helpful.

The stay was perfect for our needs. It was just two of us that were there for moments each day and sometimes to cook a meal. The home was cozy and had all the amenities that we needed. Nothing fancy, but just right.

Our second stay in this property was disappointing for the following reasons:
*Access - access code not provided before our arrival; needed VRBO rep to contact owner.
*Opened containers of food left in refrigerator.
*Fuse box trips often.

We really enjoyed our stay here, the house was great and the host was super accommodating! We arrived in corvallis at an unusual hour and the host made sure we had somewhere to store our things and get access to the house. Communication was quick and clear, would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Corvallis!

Located centrally, in a nice neighborhood and so clean. The backyard was an Oasis and we wish the fall weather was warmer so we could have enjoyed it more! I forgot my golf shoes and the property owner mailed them to me for which I was most grateful.

This house was perfect for us. Super clean, all the amenities we needed, including coffee in the morning! Location was perfect. We were able to walk downtown and to OSU, both roughly 2 miles away. I will definitely stay here again when life brings me back to Corvallis.

House was on a main road, which I was initially worried about. But at night there isn't any traffic and the beds were comfy and we slept great. The backyard was our favorite, so beautiful to relax in and the pears and grapes were so tasty to enjoy as an afternoon snack. Previous guests had left ice cream treats in the freezer too. Can't complain about that!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The backyard looked inviting for bbq and relaxing, but the temps were in the high 90’s, so we stayed inside and took advantage of the air conditioning.

Property was located and *mostly* as described. Beautiful garden.
Several items were broken (deck chairs, umbrella) and the hottub was listed as an accommodation but when we got there it was filthy and moldy. A card was left saying “not treated yet, use at own risk”.
There was also an unexpected visitor at 6:30am which was highly uncomfortable. Several messages sent to owners with concerns but little to no response back. Issues would have not been such a problem if the owner was more communicative and responsive. Will not be back.

Very nice, clean space overall inside and out. The backyard had many comfortable seating areas surrounded by interesting plants and trees. A pleasant experience.

We loved our stay at this property! We were visited Corvallis to tour OSU with our daughter and if she ends up attending, we hope to stay here again and again. Very conveniently located, has everything you need for a relaxing stay and the yard is amazing. You won’t be disappointed. Also, very quiet.

Great central location to explore Corvallis. Perfect for my husband and me. House well equipped with lovely backyard space. We were a little leary due to lack of reviews, but property was great for the 10 days we stayed. Would stay again!
