About this house rental

Make the most of a Vermont getaway at this four-bedroom retreat. Enjoy waterfront views and access. Swim and fish from the private dock or launch the paddleboat for a leisurely tour of the lake. Two kayaks and two paddleboards are provided for group excursions.

The spacious yard features a paver-stone patio furnished with a huge, campfire style grill. For a more casual al fresco experience, fire up the gas grill on the deck and lounge on the cushioned patio furniture while dinner sizzles.

The space:
The 3850 Sq. ft. bright, three-story interior comes well-appointed for contemporary guest comfort and offers plenty of space for a group getaway.

Main floor and lower level living areas each comes furnished with comfortable sofa seating and smart TVs offering flexible entertainment options. The wood-burning fireplace offers a toasty warmth for any occasion.

The kitchen features a full suite of stainless steel appliances (including a dishwasher) and all the cookware and utensils needed for home-cooking. We even have a bar cabinet with all the tools you will need.

One bedroom and a full bathroom are located on the main floor. Three bedrooms share a full bathroom upstairs and a half-bathroom is located downstairs for household convenience. All bedrooms contain a wall A/C unit or mini split unit for comfort on those hot summer nights.

The lower level has been setup to maximize family time. A 6 person game table, wood stove, huge sofa and foosball table will keep the fun going all day long!

Calling all cooks:
We offer a huge campfire grill to cook on open flame, a new Webber smoker and propane grill on the main deck. Enjoy the views of the lake while making that perfect meal!

Guest access:
Guests will have access to entire property with exception of locked closets/shed for homeowners items.

Guest entry instructions: This rental utilizes an E-lock, a digital lock that requires a unique code to enter. This code is reset after each guest's stay.

THINGS TO KNOW:
We ask that you never have more than 10 people ever in the home day or night. The home is on well/septic and is not designed to handle a larger work load. We will ask your additional guests to leave immediately.

2 kayaks, 2 paddleboards, and a paddleboat along with 4 life vests are available for guest use. Personal boats and rentals are permitted to dock on the property. However, we live north of the float bridge Road which has a limited clearance bridge over it. You can navigate it with pontoon boats, just have the canopy down. You will not be able to bring a wakeboard boat.

No pets are allowed at this vacation rental. Must be at least 25 years of age to rent.

Our home operates on well. For this reason, we ask our guests to be cognizant of their water use. We have taken numerous precautions to avoid the well running dry including a recent addition of 1200 gallon holding tanks and water efficient fixtures.

In case you are unfamiliar with Lake Bomoseen, please be aware the lake does have milfoil (seaweed) That shouldn't keep you from enjoying the lake's warm waters. We do our best to clean out the area in front of our home and you will be able to enjoy.

This home has one Ring doorbell camera located on the right side of front door which looks out to the street. There are no other indoor/outdoor cameras located on property.

The wood on side of home is available for purchase if you are interested. Summer rate is $5/day, Fall rate is $10/day and Winter rate is $15/day

We had a wonderful week at this house. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out. We loved all the decks that gave us both sun and shade in the afternoons so there was something for everyone. The only downside is the amount of seaweed in the lake. The town does come to try and clean it up but if you’re looking for a place to swim this isn’t it. You’d need a boat to go to the middle of the main lake for that or to go to the beach down the road ( for a fee).

We enjoyed staying on Lake Bomoseen in a comfortable, clean and functional home. The location is on a peaceful end of the lake with good swimming and boating opportunities. All in all a great place to stay.

We had a great time at the lake. This large well appointed home was perfect. We had 3 generations and all had a lovely time. Well suited for an active group, we were kayaking and paddle boarding all week long.

The house and location were wonderful. There was a misunderstanding regarding the number of people that could be in the house which was a bummer but we made the best of it! If you are a party of 10 (or less) this is the place for you. Quit, relaxing and beautiful!!

First of all I would like to thank Mike and Tara for their hospitality. The house was beautiful (even better than the pictures), the location was perfect and the lake view was spectacular. We came as a family to visit with family in the area. The home was very well maintained and clean. All appliances, bedding and towels were great quality. The house was spacious and had plenty of room to spread out. The location was great with an amazing view. Would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at your beautiful lakeside property over Christmas. The kitchen is well appointed and the location is beautiful. Being winter, we did not utilize the lake but it would be fantastic for summer use. You can get straight into one of the bathrooms from outside and also the kitchen which would be very useful if enjoying the lake. There is also a large 1/2 bath downstairs for changing. The beds were comfortable and the place was very clean. There were only four of us so we had a bedroom each. One of our party has mobility concerns so a bedroom on the living floor was perfect. I would recommend this property to anyone! It was excellent value for money and if we are ever in the area again we would definitely rebook.

We had a perfect stay. The house was roomy, super clean and very well appointed. The beds were super comfortable and the view was spectacular. Standing at the kitchen counter and looking at the panoramic lake views, it felt like I was on a boat. Great visit . Thank you!

My family and I had the best time staying at Mike and Tara’s house! The house was big, clean, exactly as pictured and in a great location on the lake. My kids had a blast fishing off of the dock each day and taking out the kayaks and stand up paddle boards. Check in process was easy and Mike checked in with us several times to make sure we had everything we need. We can’t wait to go back!
