About this cabin rental
The Adventure Cabin at Bear Bluff Retreat is located on a wooded 20 acres above and overlooking Wright's Bend on Center Hill Lake near Rock Island State Park. The surrounding area is considered the waterfall mecca of Tennessee with more caves, waterfalls and scenic overlooks per square mile than anywhere else in the United States.
This cabin features an adventure theme and provides a perfect launch for hiking, kayaking and other outdoor adventures. We have 3 cabins and 3 RV sites at Bear Bluff Retreat so that you can bring some friends & family by reserving what you need. Each cabin is ideal for a single, couple, or family with small children.

Such a Beautiful cabin. The host and hostess were helpful in every way. Quiet, clean, in a perfect area to chase Waterfalls. Definitely will be staying again♥️

A lovely little cabin with all the accomodations necessary for a perfect get-away. 20 min away from a charming town and state parks. We enjoyed our time jusy hanging out in the cabin as well as hiking, horseback riding, and a day trip to Nashville. Very clean, easy check in and the ride to and from is absolutely breathtaking.

We chose because it was small, not far from home, and overlooking a bend in the river, along with a long list of "10" ratings. Did not disappoint. Recommend without reservation.

Every touch, from decor to things available were perfect. The view was perfect and so relaxing. Probably one of the cleanest places we've ever stayed, and I always check reviews for cleanliness! Would 100% stay again, and recommend to family/friends.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The view from the back deck is amazing and peaceful. The cabin was the perfect size for us and our dog. It was very well equipped and VERY clean. Can't wait to go back!!!

Curt and JoAnn were awesome hosts! The cabin is super clean and has all you need for your stay. We had a snag with bringing our motorcycle (would not recommend) but the hosts were so very accommodating with helping us resolve our mode of transportation issue we couldn’t have enjoyed our peaceful vacation as much as we did, we highly recommend and plan to be back

The accommodations were exactly as pictured. The view is magnificent. You are close to your neighbor cabin but angled toward the view so you don’t feel on top of each other.

The owners you could tell they really took care in wanting to make it a welcoming place to be. Very clean, nicely decorated and with all the amenties you need. Then the view is the icing on the cake. We would try to get our site seeing done at a descent time so we could get back to enjioy the deck with the view. Make note if traveling with others there is 2 other cabins. Lots to see in Tennessee.

This was such a great property. The view is amazing. The balcony is amazing. Even though the other two cabins are close, we never felt like we didn’t have privacy. Great location to the state parks.

Place was great and clean and good location to get to hiking spots. Only thing is you don’t have any privacy (which I knew beforehand) out by your fire pit. There are 3 cabins that are just a SUV width apart so when other groups are outside you can hear all conversations without trying. Other than that great!!

Cabin was perfect size,well equipped and stocked with everything you could want. Cabins are close to each other but still very private so don’t let that stop you. Deck is great and the views will wow you as well as listening to the wild turkeys across the river is a nice perk also. There is a fire pit with wood supply ,great grilling area and laundry facilities. Owners have really done a nice job making it a homey comfortable cozy stay and my wife and I can’t wait to return.

We had such an amazing stay at the cabin, it is a beautiful, well thought out and comfortable cabin. All of our needs and expectations were met. …the view I cannot emphasize how amazing the view is. Relaxing on the back deck or watching Christmas movies in the Cabin, and Sundays out in the nearby state parks, all amazing 100% hidden gem

The cabin was perfect for us. It was clean, comfortable, well stocked, nicely decorated, and the view was outstanding. We enjoyed sitting on the deck after exploring the local state parks soaking up the view and peaceful surroundings. Having our small dog with us, we also appreciated the short trail on the property. The cabins are close together, but it wasn't an issue for us. Our only regret was not booking a longer stay!

Driving up to the property you have no idea what you are about to see. The cabin is cute and cozy and over looking the lake! It’s so breathtaking in the Fall. The leaves and the sounds of the wind! It’s quiet all around and away from any hustle and bustle. The cabin is cozy! Has everything you may think you have forgotten. The cabin is close to Rock Island, Burgess Falls State Park, and Cummins Falls State Park for all your hiking you would like to do. The countryside is just so beautiful. You will not be disappointed in your stay. Mr Curt and Mrs JoAnn make your stay so easy and enjoyable. Need anything they are right there to assist. Again, you will not be disappointed in your stay!

Views were 10/10. Cabin was perfect for two. The deck was perfect for amazing sunsets and watching the water and birds. One drawback, the cabins are a lot closer than anticipated. Very little privacy if the one next door is occupied.

Absolutely loved the cabin. Had everything we needed. Was so quiet and peaceful. The hiking and paddle boarding was nearby and spectacular. A perfect two day stay. Wish we had longer!

This Vacation Rental was absolutely, positively exceptional place to stay. Awesome view from the balcony overlooking the water and trees with an evening sunset to enjoy each night. The cabin was super clean and well thought out for all the needs that we were wanting to have for a much needed, quiet get-away. The friendly owners did excellent to answer all questions leading up to the stay and were available to contact while there. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet, beautiful place to stay.

This was my first time renting through Vrbo and I was really nervous, but had no reason to be! Curt and JoAnn were so friendly and communicated with us very promptly when we had questions. The cabin was clean, clean, clean and the view from the cabin was breathtaking. The cabin also included some cooking amenities along with a full sized kitchen. Overall, the cabin was in a beautiful location and highly recommended it.

Wonderful spot off the beaten trail. Loved the views and the area. A great base from which to travel to many parks if you like to hike, boat, fish or many other outdoor activities. We really enjoyed all the hiking we did.

We arrived as they were finishing up cleaning, as we asked for an early checkin on the way there. We were greeted by our hosts with big smiles. We couldn’t have felt more welcome! The cabin was spotless and very cozy and had a gorgeous view of the lake. I highly recommend and will definitely be recommending to friends and family.

So enjoyed our time in "The Adventure Cabin" and getting to savor that view every morning & evening was just Divine!! SOOO much love & care went into creating this space and the decor was so fun! The cabin was pristinely clean & comfy and it was fun to be greeted with a s'mores kit & logs for our fab fire pit! Having access to the beautoful common areas on the grounds was also an awesome bonus!
Because there are 3 cabins close together, this is a great set-up for families/groups wanting to have your own "oasis". There is a gravel drive that takes a little getting used to, so best to arrive during the daytime if possible.
Curt was so incredibly kind & helpful and made sure we had everything we needed :).
Overall, a magical, special location, adorable cabin & a view that will rock your world!
