Entspannen mit umwerfendem Blick (Meer, Berge; Monaco)

Eine sehr nette Dame hat uns die Schlüssel überreicht und das Wichtigste erklärt. Sie war auch per Handy zu erreichen, wären noch Fragen aufgekommen. Die Sicht ist in dieser Wohnung einmalig und traumhaft; die Einrichtung war geschmackvoll, das Wohnzimmer sehr groß. Alles (incl. Handtücher und Bettwäsche) war tip top sauber; das Bett sehr komfortabel; Klimaanlagen vorhanden, hätten wir sie benötigt. (Bei den großen Fensterfronten ist es sinnvoll - wie im Süden üblich - die Gardinen und Rollläden zu schließen, wenn man am Tag unterwegs ist, um die Wohnung kühl zu halten.) Der Botanische Garten lädt zum Träumen ein (sinnvoll: vorher Anti-Mücken-Spray verwenden), das Pool war etwas beheizt, sodass es angenehm war, zu schwimmen. Der Zugang durch Gartenwege und unter den Gleisen zum Strand ist praktisch, man sollte aber festes Schuhwerk tragen. Alles in allem ist die Wohnung (mit eingezäuntem Parking) und die Gegend (Bahnhof - nach Menton, Monaco, Nice...) fußläufig erreichbar - zahlreiche Sehenswürdigkeiten mit Auto erreichbar, mildes Klima) uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen! ;-))

Unabhängig von der Wohnung waren in einer Nacht (2:30) andere Gäste/Mieter sehr laut, sodass es erforderlich war, um Ruhe zu bitten. (Man hätte auch Gehörschutz verwenden können.) Aber solche Probleme können überall dort auftreten, wo Menschen sind. (Es war ja leicht zu beheben.)

Gorgeous view, excellent location, but not a good choice in hot weather

The view is gorgeous and the location can hardly be any better, just a few hundred meters to the beach and train station just one stop away from Monaco. There is a very nice pool attached to the housing complex. The garden is beautiful and well maintained. The layout of the apartment is good with functioning amenities. Two balconies of which especially the one attached to the sitting area is very comfortable and spacious. Parking is excellent, own parking lot of the apartment on the roof of the housing complex with remote control keys to the gates.

This apartment is perfect as long as temperature stays well below 30 degrees. It is good to remember that this apartment does NOT have air conditioning and hot air gets stuck in it in windless hot days. There is a ceiling fan in the bedroom, but it is locked to level 2 out of 5 by the owner. The managing staff were very kind and helpful, they did everything they could to ease our suffer from the hot weather, they bought a fan and an air cooler, but the lack of air condition is a big minus of this apartment. Wifi did not work on the first 24 hours, we were provided a functioning router only for the second day of our stay.
