Not as accurate as advertised. It is not "steps away from the water". It is DRIVING distance from a public launch with a private dock that is for the residents of the island across the way, and no parking unless you are a resident of the island. It's probably about a 20 minute walk. The pictures in the listing are definetly misleading. They are not near the property nor steps away from it. You need to be prepared to drive to a public beach if you want to enjoy the water. I would definitely say that this is a cottage for a winter escape not exactly the best summer get away.

We loved the coziness of the cottage. It is small, but perfect for the family to spend time together. The sauna and hot tub were a nice added bonus along with the coffee that was provided. Beds were comfortable and each room had it's own AC, which was nice to adjust temp as desired. Lots of games to play indoors in the evening. Deer were sighted frequently on the property.

We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed the close proximity to the wedding venue Sawdust City. Hot tub and sauna was very enjoyable and they even had a bin of toys for our two dogs to use. Would absolutely stay again.

My husband and I were looking for a quiet getaway to celebrate our 10 year anniversary and this definitely didn’t disappoint. It was exactly what we were looking for. Somewhere to have some quiet relaxation with a hot tub. Devon was a great host and her communication was great. We would definitely come back!
