Uncorked at The Country View Cottages is a lovely, remodeled space with all the special touches of a luxury hotel and the comforts of home in a central location. The cottage is only a 10-minute walk from the charming downtown of Carlton, often called the capital of Oregon wine country; named for its many wine-tasting rooms, cafes, and casual fine dining. An adjacent state wildlife refuge provides an excellent place for migratory bird watching. Guests are raving about the location and unexpected luxury of this remarkable property.
From the comfort of the home's style and thorough accommodations to a relaxing outdoor space, you'll find everything you need to make your Wine Country Getaway memorable. The interior of the home offers an open and spacious living room with a flat-screen TV, and a dining area with seating for four guests featuring picture windows allowing for lots of natural light. The fully-equipped kitchen with new appliances has everything you`ll need for preparing home-cooked meals from the comfort of your home away from home, making Country View Cottage Uncorked a comfortable retreat to relax with family and friends after a day of wine tasting.

The two bedrooms feature a new queen bed in one room and two twins in the other. Both rooms are equipped with storage for clothing and luxury linens. In the hallway, there is the shared bathroom with a shower where you can find towels, a hairdryer, and everything you will need to pamper yourself during your stay!
Your backyard patio offers a cozy space to retreat to with your freshly brewed morning coffee from Caravan or a glass of wine under the stars. You’re also welcome to enjoy the shared spacious outdoor lawn area perfect for yard games or simply a fun area for kids to play. The cabin is far less rustic than one might think. We had a group of friends in Carlton for an event and they were able to get the next door unit. It was very convenient and delightfully located across the street from another winery. Not to mention all of the other wineries and tasting rooms less than a ten minute walk away.
The furniture was clean (IYKYK) and the beds were comfortable. I would gladly stay here again and feel right at home. The coffee (thank you) and welcome gift (very unexpected) were a lovely touch.

I highly recommend these cottages. We have stayed in each one once now. I liked this one because it faced the Cana's Feast Winery, which has a beautiful wine tasting area. Both cottages are amazing. This one was a more modern design and very comfortable.

We loved our stay - so close to town that we enjoyed walking to get a coffee, visit the bakery and shops -- and the super nice folks at the winery across the street. If it hadn't been raining, we would have sat on the patio and sipped wine in the gorgeous countryside view. We would definitely stay here agin.

Wonderful location near wineries and great restaurants in the Carlton area. Unit was clean and quiet. Main road near the house is quiet after commute time and I had no issues sleeping. Kitchen was well equipped and living area was cozy and comfortable. Only regret was no washer and drier. I was there for 9 days and missed that convenience. Otherwise, everything AA.

My best friend and I had a lovely time staying in Carlton. The location was ideal (directly across from one of our tastings)! Clean, comfortable and well appointed. Walkable to the main Street in Carlton with good food, drinks, coffee, etc. Highly recommend staying here! The host was responsive and friendly in her comms with us. Checkin/out was simple and issue free.

Lora’s house was just as listed, absolutely spotless and ready for our visit. The property had everything we needed to enjoy a great weekend. The beds were comfortable, plenty of living and dining seating and the kitchen came well stocked. The host graciously even included a delicious bottle of wine from the vineyard across the road! Perfectly located cottage in Carlton. We stayed here for a weekend of wine tasting and to attend a wine release party. Three of us stayed at the cottage. Very comfortable and spacious. One bedroom has a queen sized bed and the other two twins. We had two other members of our party meet us at the cottage for appetizers before dinner and had plenty of space to socialize. The cottage is situated on a corner lot across the street from another winery with beautiful countryside views. I would recommend staying here and will use this as my "go to" when visiting Carlton in the future.
