This stunning rural cottage is located in the heart of Ardennes, placed amidst the beauty of the 3 valleys of Ourthe, Amblève and Liennefree. This is a stone building in the Ferrières part of Belgium. The house has 12 bedrooms which accommodate 32 people and is ideal for families. The ambience of the region is great and you can go walking around to discover the place further. You can spend time on the oval terrace or the shaded garden area. There is also a vast lawn on the other side of the house. This is a 3 storey building and has mobility access in some parts of the house. It has a play area consisting of a playhouse, small slide and other play equipment for children. Some of its bedrooms have an attached bathroom. Public transport is 15 km away and Liege Airport is the nearest, at a distance of 56 km. Access to restaurants, general supplies and Town centre 5 km away. Het huis ligt op een erg mooie plek; vrij uitzicht, je loopt meteen het bos in, in de buurt van Durby en de wereldberoemde Ninglinspo wandeling. Het is een oerdegelijk huis met dikke muren en dus zit het met de gehorigheid wel goed. Bij aankomt bleek de bbq al in geen jaren meer schoon gemaakt te zijn. Na drie uur poetsen kon de bbq gebruikt worden. Al gaande weg kwamen we meer en meer mankementen tegen, variërend van ontbrekende of kapotte lampen, een haard die niet trok en voor het afgaan van het alarm zorgde, vaatwassers die op halve kracht werkten, een oven die wel erg lang voor moest worden verwarmd, loshangende kranen en wc-brillen en knellende deuren. De communicatie met de eigenaar verliep niet alleen vanwege de taal op z'n minst gezegd stroef. Wel heeft de gevraagd naar onze lijst met mankementen. Al met al zijn we van mening dat het huis in deze staat van onderhoud niet 'Belvilla-waardig' is. Hopelijk neemt de eigenaar onze lijst serieus en gaat aan de slag. Want het huis zelf en de ligging verdient meer.

aankomst prima Accommodatie erg goed voor onze groep die gemêleerd waas met volwassenen en kinderen (pubers). We konden in verschillende ruimtes verblijven, de pubers konden chillen. Omgeving was prachtig!! Mooi wandelen!

mooie omgeving de accommodatie voor grote groepen, wel weinig ruimte over (geen kasten), zeer kleine douches, wc,... redelijk wat mankementjes toiletten die blijven lopen, nachtlapjes zonder lamp, koffiezet die zéér traag is,...
