We would come back for a short stay.

The pool area was very smart, and although it was small it wasn't busy. The beach was walking distance, there was a lovely patisserie next door and a couple of restaurants. The local town of Gruissan is only a short drive, it has a great market and lovely atmosphere.

Having to pay extra for sheets and cleaning - that wasn't made clear during booking. The cabin was quite small but OK for a few nights. The sofa bed in the lounge was vinyl and you were only given a thin cotton sheet to cover it with - a mattress cover should be provided. The check out was odd - you had to book an inspection and they even counted the cutlery lol.

Do not stay here.

Pool was nice though can fill fast as it is quite small. This is the only reason I did not give this place a score of 1.

So many issues with this place. We only ended up staying here because of a last minute change. I would not go here again. You have to pay extra for bedding on top of quoted price and you have to put it on your self. It's just some sheets which do not fit the bed. The 'couch' bed is literally a wooden platform with a leather cushion. All the beds are very uncomfortable- we all had sore backs each morning. Worst beds in accommodation I have ever been on. There are a lot of rules for everything, not welcoming. They expect you to clean everything but don't give you much to clean with, no sponges, cloths. No hand soap, shower gel etc . They take a 300euro deposit and if the place is not clean they charge you. They say Clean windows, clear out shower. They give you 1 roll of toilet roll for 4 people, very cheap. They even were asking why we didn't leave a black bin bag when we were leaving (they only gave us one)...what a thing to complain about!!! You have to bring out all the rubbish even though no instruction where to put it. They checked everything before we left to see what they charge us! No towels given not even a dishcloth. TV is tiny and didn't work as digital connection went off. They give you 4hrs of WiFi in total for your stay then switch it off unless you pay for more. Music/karaoke blaring from bar until after midnight. We paid 145euro a night and they expect you to pay extra for bedding and do all the cleaning for them. Makes me think they don't do any cleaning.

Not a property to dream of, despite being near a beautiful beach.

The location near the beach. A parking lot near the room.

Mattress not confortable and the bedroom quite small, almost the size of the bed. Some of the staff were unfriendly.

Exceptional

It was a very nice site. Very close to a very large beach. The cabin was excellent. The staff were very friendly. All the other guests were also friendly. It was well placed for visiting other nice places as well. I also used the shop and the restaurant on site.

There was nothing that I did not like.

Superb

Really friendly staff, handy shop, nice pool, and only a few minutes walk to the enormous beach. The beach was perfect for young children as the water is shallow quite far out. Our house was well organised and felt private and calm. It had lots of useful features for example a big clothes drying rack. We unfortunately had to cut our stay short unexpectedly, and the staff were really helpful and flexible about us leaving at a different time.

The worst camping site we have ever visited

The swimming pool was alright.

We travelled down to GRUISSAN for two nights to the camping Hameau Des Cannisses as I had a job interview not too far away. My partner has been sick for the past 6 months so it was a quick stop so that I could go to this job interview to improve our situation as the past few months financially have been very difficult. We made a massive mistake of brining a chèque to leave as a deposit on arrival and when we arrived, we realized that they only accepted card or cash (completely a mistake of ours). On arrival, the lady at the desk (blonde hair) was EXTREMELY rude. I have never experienced rudeness like it. As my partner and I do not have a cheque book, his brother gave us a cheque with his ID card (with the same second name as my partner). As it was not an option for us to pay 300€ upfront in card or cash, the lady eventually accepted the cheque. She made it out that we were lying about the job interview. She continued screaming about how she couldn’t understand how we had arrived with NO MONEY (with 4 other people in the queue behind us). She accused us of having children in the car and that we were not telling them. She finished by giving us the keys and threw them at me!! I have never felt so humiliated in my life. Are we the only couple in the world to ever be going through a difficult period in our lives?? DO NOT STAY IN THE CAMPSITE. There is far more choice in GRUISSAN and the villages around it. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

We had a very nice time except for bed and therefore poor sleeping!

Cabin very nice - perfect for us (apart from bed - see below). Pool lovely and clean very nice swim. Lovely sandy large beach and great sea swim.

Bed uncomfortable for two, so had to use sofa, and so had to sleep separately. Restaurant disappointing as food mediocre! Late night music noise from nearby bar kept us awake!

I was robbed of €300 euro do not go here

They robbed me of €300, do not go here I got charged a €300 deposit which I didn't know beforehand, the day I checked out I got up early cleaned my room to a high standard and when they came and checked it they said it was fine and my deposit would be returned automatically, after a couple of days I didn't get the money back so I rang up and was told to wait another few days, after this I rang again and had very little cooperation from them, and now they don't want to hear from me, i still have not received my €300 back.
