We were 3 families staying at the villa for 10 nights. The villa is large enough both inside and out to feel that you're not on top of each other but has two terraces with lovely views and large dining tables where you can eat together in the shade. Lovely big pool which was very warm in the middle of August and plenty of sun loungers. The villa is situated an easy walk from the beach, local restaurants and shops. There is a small grocery store and bakery within walking distance and a large supermarket within a 5 minute drive. Loved the home cooked paella too! Thank you!

We were a group of 5 adults ranging from 20 to 83 years old. We had a lovely stay, great location with wonderful views. Easy walk to restaurants, beach and small supermarket and only 30 mins taxi from airport. Very easy check in and out too, we would definitely return!

Its a good 30 minute walk along the sea to Mercadona The bakery to the right of the main road was great and there were a couple of small bars for a welcome coffee
The pool is a great size and was warm enough to swim in unheated

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the villa. After months of rain, we were very lucky to arrive at the start of a beautiful week in Spain.
The villa is great, well laid out for families to share and had everything we needed. The pool is also great and once we asked for the heating to be put on, was really fun to use, with beautiful sea views.
We also enjoyed a delicious paella cooked by Alejandro at the villa one night and would highly recommend this too.

We have just returned from a wonderful family holiday at this villa. It’s well equipped with everything you could need. The outside area was the highlight for us as a family. A large deep pool with a covered terrace and a quality BBQ. The views are stunning!
The area is typically Spanish which we loved and embraced, trying out our very limited Spanish on the locals who were very engaging as we were trying!
The communication from Bill was spot on as was the communication with the housekeeper who met us at the villa to open up the house.
One little point to note, the stunning views come with an incline up to the villa entrance with some additional steps to get to the property. It was worth every step to look out every day on such a stunning view.

The property was ideal for our holiday in Spain. WE had a very good time . The beach was near by and it was clean, a far cry from the dirty beaches back in England. My grand daughter had had birthday holding a pool party. It was fantastic. My daughter had a marvelous BBQ for her 50th birthday. All in all we had an excellent holiday. I would recommend it to any one. The only hitch was we had water problem on the last day which somewhat spoilt our whole hearted endorsement.

Villa overall was lovely, nice and spacious favourite area was around the pool. The pool was nice and big, lots of room around the pool to relax. The villa is located at the top of a hill and lots of steps, not good of your unsteady on your feet. Very Spanish area but Torre del mar is around 15 minute car ride away. Highly recommend eating at safari lounge in Torre del mar!

Cons: no pool heating (told on arrival it pump had broken week before - not fixed whilst there so cold pool despite warm weather). Not happy we weren’t told in advance as kids have short wetsuits they could have taken and we chose villa specifically for heated pool.

Bed hard and squeaky and short - not good for tall people in our group who were 5.9 and above).
Bedroom Door handles need some wd40 as terribly squeaky- felt I was waking everyone up in the night
No oven racks or Baking trays for oven (only the oven shelf) which meant couldn’t use oven as 11 of us - hugely limited our cooking options.
Dishwasher didn’t clean well. Tried various cycles. Glasses always left filthy so had to hand wash them.

Positives. In a residential area. No high rise properties Lovely view overlooking the sea which is approx 400 m from Villa. Pool is amazing. Cant fault the Villa. Spacious clean, & well equipped.
Area is very Spanish & is not touristy. If you want a relaxing holiday this is the place for you. Saying that Torre del mar is only 9Km to the east which has more bars & shops & Malaga 25Km to the west. Big city.
Buses run approx every hour both ways & cost no more than 2 euros one way per person.
Negative. Only one really & thats if you have trouble going up & down steps this could be a problem. There are a quite a few steps especially from the entrance to the Villa.
Villa has three levels from the swimming pool up to the 5 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms.

First blended family holiday
It was a wonderful holiday, our first as a blended family . Everyone absolutely loved the pool and we had enough space to be on our own in small groups and altogether. It had everything we needed; in fact we didn't want to leave. Thank you for allowing us to make such wonderful memories .

Fantastic stay
This villa was fabulous. We were 12 tired nurses who worked through covid and needed some rest and rehab. The photos didnt do the villa justice it is so much nicer. One of the girls has already booked again for next year. Neighbourhood dogs barked a fair bit but overall it was wonderful. We will deffo be back thanks bill and paloma who kindly let us check in early. This is a diamond of a property

Wonderful view
We have had a lovely few days at the villa celebrating our golden wedding anniversary with our family of eight adults and two children. It is within walking distance to the beach shops and restaurants. The pool is of a good size deep enough to have a good swim. We would definitely recommend the paella cooked by the gardener it was delicious. There is a reliable bus service into Malaga. A good time was had by all.

Great experience from booking to leaving, the owner, Bill sent us lots of info about the villa etc and was always contactable by email. The villa was beautiful and well equipped, amazing views and fantastic pool. Would highly recommend paella night with Alejandro, would definitely love to come back to the villa again.

Fantastic villa for our family holiday
We booked this villa as it looked perfect for our family holiday of 8 adults and 2 children and when we arrived everything was just as described and
more.photographs didn’t do the place justice the villa is fantastic with breathtaking views,near to the beach,bars,restaurant and shops,security gates for the kids and the pool was excellent.the local bus service runs to Malaga(30mins) and Torre del mar(15 mins) in the other direction which is must visit for anyone staying at the villa.
The housekeeper Paloma was very helpful along with Alajandro the gardener who also looks after the pool and on our last day we had a late flight(9.15 pm)and when we enquired with Paloma about getting a late check out it was no problem and considering our pick up was 6.30 pm it was a great help.
We highly recommend this Villa and the staff and will certainly be booking this villa again in the near future.
I recommend anyone booking this Villa take up the offer of Alajandros Paella which is on offer.

Villa was all it said it was. The resort was quiet, perfect for families. Bar and restaurants close by. Bus travel cheap, though somewhat unreliable with times. Recommend asking Alejandro to cook paella, excellent! Very good size pool. Spent fabulous 2 week holiday at the end of August

Fantastic villa with great facilities
This is a great villa for families with great facilities and a fantastic swimming pool. Its large enough for everyone to enjoy at the same time. With the veranda and bbq next to the pool we had some great evenings there. Absolutely stunning views from the villa. Local restaurants are friendly and have some lovely food available. We didn't hire a car as there was 8 in our party and thought we would use the public buses however we found these to be somewhat unreliable and were left standing in unbearable heat for nearly an hour. I would definitely hire our own transport in future.

Amazing view
We had an amazing week. The villa was lovely and has everything we needed. The hill up to the villa is a good way to work off the luxurious treats from the local bakery. Lots of lovely seafood beach resturants which are reasonably priced.
Easy bus route to Malaga without being to close to the city.....would recommend the hop on hop off sightseeing bus/boat tour -cultured with lots of authentic spanish cafè and restaurants along the way.

Ideal property
The villa is immediately visible as you approach it. It looks out across the sea and has tremendous views. The villa was large enough for our needs and we’ll equipped. It is close enough to the beach to walk. We were using as a place to stay around a family wedding and we’re able to sleep 12 people on one particular night. Most of the time we had 8 people and there was plenty of room . We would stay again if the opportunity arose. Would recommend the Paella prepared by the gardener - it was superb. We also managed to lock ourselves out despite the warnings in the property guide. One again we were rescued by the gardener. Overall - excellent

We shared the villa with family and friends, it was plenty big enough for the 10 of us. The children really loved the large pool. We also loved the location, views were fantastic. The small town was lovely too, we really felt like we were in Spain not just a tourist resort.

Fabulous holiday
Stayed for a week, 6 adults and 6 kids (3 families). We loved the villa met all our needs. Few minor issues fed back to owner after our stay which I’m sure will be addressed. Communication with owner from initial booking and throughout was fantastic. Area is quiet but enough locally to get all the necessary supplies and to eat out. We managed to get the local bus to the nearby water park which was a good day out. Beach wasn’t our favourite as it was of a black pebbly type. Overall holiday was fantastic value for money and we came away with many happy memories.

Very Nice house with fantastic pool
We enjoyed our stay very much for 14 days. 10 persons including grandparents, adults and children. Nice and clean, spacious bedrooms with lots of place for clothes and bags.
The Kitchen was big, and there were place for all 10 around the table, both on the balcony outside the livingroom, and by the pool.
And the pool was fantastic, big and deep enough for the kids to dive and play in. It was also very nice to have 10 sunbeds!

Perfect family holiday!
Apon our arrival we were truly stunned by this villa, we were greeted by Paloma the house keeper who welcomed us and showed us around. I cannot express how stunning this villa is, pictures do not do justice!
Having children with us we felt absolutely reassured as all windows had shutters and opening bedroom doors had secured balconies. The house was totally secure by an intercom entery gate at the bottom of the steps and put our mind to ease when going on day trips out. The pool was perfect and attended regularly withour any disturbance to ourselves. Being 10 of us, we worried about finding a place to accommodate us but this villa was perfect. The villa is located in a beautiful rural town with the most welcoming neighbours and citizens. Would 100% recommend, will definitely be returning in the future.

Perfect!
There were 3 families staying at this villa in May and it was perfect for us. We had 5 children aged 2 to 8 and they loved it. There was plenty of space and it never felt crowded. The pool area is fantastic and there are beautiful views from the various balconies.
We hired cars, but you can get everything you need in walking distance. It's only a few minutes walk into the little town. It's very Spanish, which we liked. Enough bars and restaurants to have a nice drink and meal.
Kieran who own the property is great and helped us with anything before we went. Paloma the housekeeper over there was equally helpful during our stay and will help you with anything you need.
Will definitely return at some point!

HIghly Recommended
Just returned from two weeks in Benajarafe where the weather was fantastic.
The villa had everything you could want, well equipped kitchen, great size bedrooms, air conditioned, very clean in a beautiful setting with amazing panoramic views. The pool area, in particular, was lovely and the pool water was crystal clear.
Benajarafe is a very Spanish village, were the locals are incredibly friendly. The local bars and restaurants are all a short walk from the villa and great value for money. The beach and promenade are beautiful and kept immaculately clean. There are a range of small shops to cover most necessities, a ‘Laura Ashley’ styled coffee shop and a Café which was always busy. On Saturday morning there was a local market in the side street.
There is a great bus service into Torre Del Mar one way and Malaga the other. Torre Del Mar has some lovely restaurants, lots for the children to do on the beach and an amazing water park.
Would highly recommend the Villa and will certainly book again!!

FABULOUS VILLA & VIEWS!
Our stay here was idyliic!
From the moment of booking, the communication with the owner was faultless. All queries were answered via email or text with great efficiency.
We arrived after a 4 hour flight delay to a lovely welcome from the housekeepers. They couldn't do enough to make us feel comfortable, a welcome pack of food and drink was in the kitchen, they arranged a taxi for us the next day so we could get our big supermarket shop and were also on call for any queries or problems (not that we had any)!
We were 6 adults and 5 children (3 families), we all had more than enough room and never felt on top of one another. The pool area was perfect, with the phenomenal panoramic views of the sea as it's backdrop. There were more than enough sun beds for the those who wanted to lounge in the sun. For those who prefer the shade the covered area next to the pool was great, it meant everyone could be together.
It was a short walk to the beach and local shops and restaurants. There was a smaller supermarket which provided us with top ups throughout our stay, a local bakery and a few restaurants that were amazing value. It's a very Spanish area, not many spoke English which was a real plus.
We had a very enjoyable stay here, the views were incredible, villa spotlessly clean, and the pool was perfect for all. We will definitely return one day.

Fantastic villa and location
Just returned from spending a fortnight in this villa and we were not disappointed. Obviously the weather helped whilst we were there reaching 42 degrees and not dropping below 35 degrees during the day. The layout of the villa is fantastic with an area for everyone. There is a stack of seating by the pool including a comfy sofa and there are 10 full size resort quality sun loungers. We ate every meal outside on the huge table and there is a very handy outside grill which we used most days. The other massive plus point is that the bedrooms and living room areas have air conditioning so even though it was piping hot we were still able to sleep comfortably during the night. There is everything that you would need at the villa as far as kitchen facilities are concerned and it was a real bonus being able to wash our clothes when we needed to. The Wi-Fi at the villa was also really good and was more than enough for uploading photos and searching the web. The pool was easily one of the biggest in the area other than a communal one down the road and that really made the holiday for the kids. The pool was also cleaned regular, every 3 days or so. The location is really private and Torre Del Mar which has everything you need is only a 10 minute drive down the road. In brief I can’t really say anything bad about the villa or the location, it really was a great holiday. 10 out of 10. Cheers!

Great villa in great location
Excellently equipped, clean, well-maintained villa, with great views over the village and the sea.
Loads of space inside and out. Air-con in all the upstairs bedrooms. Kitchen was well-stocked with various utensils and cutlery.
Outside, the pool is fantastic and thoroughly cleaned twice a week. There is more than enough tables, chairs and sunbeds. We were in a group of 11, and the place never felt crowded. There is a nice shaded dining area at pool level, where you get to look out over the sea while you're eating. There were also some pool toys for the kids in an outside store-room.
The villa, from a distance, looks as if it is quite high up a hill, but the route up loops back and forward, so the incline is gradual rather than steep. My elderly parents were able to make it up two or three times a day in the scorching heat without any trouble. As a result of the height, you get the wonderful views, and are not overlooked.
From the villa, it is only a 2 minute stroll to the main promenade in the village, where all the services are. On booking, I was worried that Benajarafe was a bit of a one-horse town, but there are more than enough little restaurants and beach bars to choose from when eating out. There is a small shop, which proved adequate for our needs. There is also a well-stocked bakery, chemist, bank, and a butchers.
The bus-stop is a further two minutes away and will take you to Torre del Mar, one way, and Malaga the other. Go-karting in Almayate, 10 minutes on the bus, was great fun, and Torre del Mar has great inflatable slides on the beach for the kids. Bigger supermarkets also.
Benajarafe is a place where the Spanish holiday, so English is not widely spoken. But we found everyone very helpful and friendly. Even if your Spanish is a bit rusty, making a basic effort is appreciated.
The beach is superb. During the week it can be quite empty. I had to remind myself that I was in the Costa del Sol in the height of summer at times.
Kieran, the owner, was very helpful throughout the whole process, and did us a big favour in arranging an extra room to be made up at short notice, then letting us stay on in the villa on our last day due to a late flight, rather than lugging our bags around the village all day. We also arrived early, but the nice couple who look after it, had already got the place ready for us, after Kieran notified them.
Thoroughly recommend this great villa, in a smashing location. We're definitely booking for next year.

Excellent
A brilliant villa with everything you could need. The accommodation works really well, all bedrooms are on the one level, all with air conditioning and comfy beds. The location is better than we expected and there are lots of bars and restaurants in easy walking distance all at very reasonable prices. Not to mention the bakers which bakes the most delightful cakes and fresh croissants and bread. The bus to Torre de Mar and Rincon only takes 15 mins and is cheap at 1.20 Euros per person and both are well worth a visit with lots to do. Getting to the supermarket is also easy, either on the bus or via taxi, which can be organised through the housekeeper and only takes 10 mins. All in all a great holiday! Thanks Kieran

The property was in an excellent condition as listed on the website. Air conditioning throughout, large living room and fully functional kitchen. Good sized comfortable beds. Great pool and BBQ, plenty of sunbeds and seating. Everything we needed was there and more.
Lovely places to eat locally and in the next towns. Great shopping too for the ladies.
Local market so you can stock the fridge, food & drink cheaper than London and better quality.
An easy place to drive, I encountered no traffic but take your own Sat-Nav device with maps and watch speed limits & lights in tunnels.
Internet connectivity was simple and cheap, brought my own mini router, bought a local sim for 15Euros and inserted, the data limit of 1GB more than enough for a week to read emails and check in online but not for streaming movies etc..
I would rent this accommodation again next year and recommend it to my friends.
There are great beaches to enjoy and beautiful little towns to visit.
My friends and I had great fun, the time flew by too quickly. Great place, food and people.
