Safe, clean, and beautiful

Kevin created a beautiful, peaceful and we wish we had more time there! There were plenty of places to hang out, the rooms were nice, and the property felt very safe. Kevin was a great host, and it is really nice of him to provide an airport shuttle.

Super Preis - Leistung!

Der Besitzer ist super nett und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt. Das Hostel ist umrankt von Pflanzen, wie eine kleine Oase.

Durch die Lage in Flughafennähe ist es relativ laut. Man hört den Lärm der Straße und Flugzeuge. Aber das weiß man ja wenn man ein Hostel beim Flughafen nimmt.

El alojamiento es espectacular y cada detalle está definido pensando en que quien lo ocupa lo pueda disfrutar la mejor estadía. A eso se agrega una cálida atención del anfitrión.

La zona no es la mejor para una estadía prolongada pero es un alojamiento ideal al llegar o partir desde el Aeropuerto Juan Santamaría

The perfect location near to the airport

After a long flight the check-in was very simple. Near to pick up the rental car at Europcar (around the corner) and to the airport.

A little bit noisy but that‘s due to the location near to the airport.

Een aanrader!

Het is heel dicht bij de airport, met een Uber ben je er voor 4-5 dollars in 5 minuten, eigenaren zijn super aardig, mooie tuin, ruime kamer, ik kom zeker terug!

Er is in de straat niet echt wat te doen. Er is een supermarkt recht tegenover en wat kleine restaurants maar dat is het,

Will not go back.

The only thing I liked was the hospitality of the host.

The property is next to airport so you can hear the take off of planes even in the middle of the night. It was so loud that I thought I was sleeping in the runway. You can also hear the traffic all night through. The property is old without maintenance, a lot of equipments are broken.

Der Gastgeber war der freundlichste Mensch, der mir je begegnet ist. Das Zimmer war gemütlich, man hatte viel Platz und fühlte sich mit all den Pflanzen und den schönen Einrichtungen ein bisschen wie in einer Oase in dieser Grossstadt

La amplitud y limpieza del apartamento. La comodidad de la enorme cama. El exuberante jardín de la casa. La amabilidad de los anfitriones

El ruido exterior, no solo lo cerca que pasan los aviones que al estar tan cerca del aeropuerto es lo lógico, sino que además justo enfrente tienen un almacén de camiones

Perfect stay 🌞

We loved this place! Only stayed here for a night in between flights and it was perfect. Close to the airport, the owner was lovely and gave us recommendations for food etc. Will definitely choose this little safe haven again when we come this way 🪷🌴🌞

Lovely, comfortable and graciously hosted.

Kenneth was very attentive and accommodating to my needs as I had a few logistical problems. These are nice spacious apartments and not hotel rooms.The grounds are very pretty and there’s a friendly little cat as a bonus. The only thing is some traffic noise which is not the fault of the business. Bring earplugs if you’re sensitive to that.

Great place to stay as you fly in or out of San José

I love that this is a family run business. Daniel is awesome and so personable. I even booked there for the night before I left Costa Rica because I was so happy with my stay.

WiFi was a little spotty at times but that may have been the storms coming through periodically. You will hear some airplanes for sure, but that’s a given when you want to be super close to the airport ;-)

The entire property is very well maintained and secure and near enough to the airport without being right against it. The courtyard gardens provide a beautiful, lush setting for the apartments. There is a common area with drinks available at any time that was most convenient.

Exceptional

The host was very welcoming and accommodating. He explained how everything worked and even had a couple of snacks available. You could tell he took a lot of pride in the room he had developed for his guests. My girlfriend and I booked this place close to the airport as a matter of convenience for an early morning flight the next day and we were super satisfied with how cute, spacious, and homey the room was.

Beautiful hosts that went out of their way to help us: found us a walkable restaurant that offered plant-based options,

Property was so cute! The apartment was HUGE for the price: full kitchen, dining and living area with two bedrooms and one big bathroom. It’s a great spot for our family of four.

It had a little street noise and was in the flight path. BUT we got it knowing that it was literally around the corner from the car rental returns AND it was then 4 minutes from the airport drop off. So quick! Also note: the airport isn’t big so we only heard a couple planes all evening/night. Hardly any air traffic noise!
