Disappointed

Location was great easy walk into town

Booked a room with a spa bath, it was out of order. Room was meant to have cable TV it had no internet therefore no Netflix etc. dead cockroach on the floor and dead bugs in the light shade (a lot of them). The shower had a leak and took forever to heat up. Room description said seperate lunge and bedroom it was just one room with a table shoved under the TV . Staff said they would fix the TV and didn’t

The staff weren't there when we arrived. The room was very small and at the back. There seemed to be hardly any guests so an upgrade would have been appreciated.

Overall not bad for only one night stay .

Was a close walk to the beach and eating places .

The bed was very hard , wifi didn’t work in our room on our devices . Only one chair on balcony and was 2 of us staying .

Great staff, but to expensive

Location excellent and manager Nicole very friendly and accommodating Spa worked and was very nice

Facilities, very bare. Not even a hair dryer, very small balcony. Single bedroom looked like prison cell

Don't stay here

Location

Terrible experience and now won't reply to requests to discuss issues. Apartments sold for demolition and it is clear they are no longer maintaining anything. Understand that but then price should reflect quality and need to be honest about state of amenities. Fridge broke and we were told it would be looked at then heard nothing again and reception left without talking to us. Toilet leaked all over floor. No air con and ceiling fan broken. TV ran off wifi but kept dropping out. To then be ignored just made the little things add up to just be disappointing and would have stayed elsewhere for the same money given the choice.

so bad is not liveable, in any shape or form.

No hot water for shower in morning, we pay for 2 large double bed and we got 1 double and 2 kids bad, no room service, no staff, no one clean the room, so bad is unliveable, is 1 start hotel or perhaps 0.5 start

Sleep on the street, it’s safer and would smell better

Nothing at all

Feeling like I would be trapped in an emergency. Since when do we put plastic bags on smoke alarms. The place smelt and the side walk was flooding. It was a slip hazard and dangerous. No wonder they are pulling it down This property should not be advertised by booking.com A way overpriced, stayed at better backpacker accomodation.

OK for just one night.

The location is great. A lot of restaurants around. Also, close to the beach. Nice area.

The room was not cleaned at all. The bathroom was terrible, we found hairs on the sink and towels from other guests on the floor behind the door.

Would not stay here again given other options in the area. Good location but accom was unbearably loud and very budget.

the location/proximity to the beach and restaurants was the only redeeming quality

The traffic noise and goons along the road were insane. had to sleep with the windows closed and even then it was enough to keep you awake. Added onto that the noise from other guests and doors slamming/talking and yelling late into the night reverberated through the entrance area into the apartment. we had to go buy earplugs and even then kept getting woken by the noise. The air conditioner was old and moldy, and without being able to open the windows due to noise the room was hot and stuffy.

Good for a weekend away, close to walk to everything

Cleanliness, location and staff were great

Fold out bed was bent and broken Beds were very uncomfortable Shower pressure and warmth wasn’t the best Room above us vomited over balcony which landed on our door step just missing my son, but staff were very attentive to this.

Can book if you don’t worry about facilities and just want to sleep

Location is convenient and has parking on site

Poor facility. Air conditioner doesn’t work. No hot water. We ended up taking cold shower. Called reception after hours informing issue about air conditioning, manager said she will come and have a look but never showed up

Great location and within walking distance to where we were going

Reception was closed when we went to check in and a cleaner checked us in but didn’t really know how to do it and had to ring another person. There was also no one there when we checked out. The room had a spa bath but the plug supplied was the wrong size so we couldn’t use it and the reception was closed so we couldn’t speak to anyone about it

Get what you pay for but would be a really nice please with a little upkeep

Great location comfortable bed

It needed to be cleaned a little better there was still hair in the shower and the sink had what smelled like bleach left on it. The bin was rusted and could be replaced. There was no milk in the fridge. And the toilet roll holder had been broken so the toilet paper was just sitting on the towel rack.

The location was great.

The rooms were very outdated and are in serious need of updating (particularly the pillows - absolutely terrible). For the price they were charging I would have expected it to have been a lot better.

Both properties are in need of a maintenance check over

The place needs some basic maintenance done. I. The A/C didn’t work and the place was quite cold. The owner relocated us to another property nearby. Beautiful place, but the ensuite toilet didn’t flush and the bathroom exhaust fan didn’t work. In need of some maintenance

Stay Wollongong

The bed was comfy and the rooms were large. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

The sofa bed was in need of an update. There was only 2 bowls and 2 dessert spoons + 1 teaspoon. There were no plates or knives even though a toaster was provided. The walls were thin and you could hear the staff talking in the office.

Great location and price but not clean

The location and size of the apartment

It was very dirty and mouldy. Dishwasher didn’t work and only an empty bottle of dishwashing liquid to wash up with. No staff around to ask for any more. The plug didn’t fit the sink and no plug in the bathroom for the kids to have a bath. Scraps of food left in fridge chocolate with nuts my daughter is anaphylactic to nuts old ice cream left in freezer.
