We thought it was really overpriced .
The breakfast was paid for separately £12 each But the only options were a full English or fried food in baguettes. I only realised after paying but really didn’t want such a large breakfast. A continental option should be offered. Having said that the breakfast was beautifully cooked and presented and very nice. One had to book a breakfast time the night before with 8.30 being the earliest time on offer . Despite having submitted our choice the night before we still didn’t get it until 8.50
Our room was up a VERY steep staircase in the main pub. The bed area was quite small and gloomy, but the bathroom was difficult. The toilet was under sloping eaves so that one had to get up carefully and edge out sideways so as not to bang one’s head. There was a wardrobe but other than that nowhere to put anything - shelves , surfaces, hooks in the bedroom or bathroom. There would have been plenty of room under the sloping eaves for at least a chair ! The bathroom door was noisy and sliding of frosted glass and no lock. It wasn’t secured at the bottom so flapped and banged in wind. It was good a non- slip mat was provided.

Geen gastvrije ontvangst.
De bedden waren goed. Er kon koffie en thee gezet worden. Handdoeken waren goed.

An enjoyable stay but probably overpriced.
Staff were friendly and helpful, the inn had a good ambience and good food.
Breakfast was overpriced at £12 and no cereals or pastries were available.

Comfortable but a bit pricey
Nice room, very clean and comfortable, although wasn’t in the main house - felt a little like being in a motel as you were right next to the beer garden. Lovely old pub and nice atmosphere. Staff were more than polite and friendly and food pretty good in the pub
Not being in the main property and being next to the beer garden. Was quite expensive for the night with no breakfast included

Peaceful, cosy getaway
The staff were just so lovely. We had a really lovely lady looking after us; she was so smiley and kind and just super accommodating with any questions we had!

Spacious, clean room
Very clean, lovely bed linen and towels
The bed could have been more comfy, I think the mattress has lost its go on one side. The toilet ran with water all night and wouldn't flush, tbh we closed the bathroom door and couldn't hear it and in the morning I fixed the flush mechanism, just a bit of limescale.
