Sehr schöne Wohnung mit traumhaftem Blick aufs Meer.

Für alle, die Ruhe suchen und dem Trubel der Touristenorte entfliehen möchten, ist dieses tolle Appartment die richtige Wahl. Die Wohnung hat eine Top-Ausstattung und bietet bequem Platz für 4 Personen. Im Wohnzimmer gibt es noch ein Schlafsofa, so dass auch 6 Personen Platz finden. Als wir im Februar vor Ort waren, gab es in den beiden Schlafzimmern und im Wohnzimmer eine Klimaanlage, die wir aber Dank des Frühlingshaften Wetters nicht benötigt haben. Wir möchten es aber unbedingt erwähnen, da vor ein paar Monaten eine negative Bewertung wegen fehlender Klimaanlage vergeben wurde, für die es nun aus unserer Sicht aber keine Berechtigung mehr gibt. Vor Ort sind Fußläufig ein Bäcker, zwei kleine Supermärkte und jede Menge Restaurants zu erreichen. Der „Strand“ ist auch nicht weit, aber es handelt sich hier um einen Steinstrand, so dass das Baden an dieser Stelle eher nicht zu empfehlen ist. Es gibt aber einen Gemeinschaftspool, so dass für Abkühlung aber dennoch vorgesorgt ist. Um in Pal-Mar zu übernachten, empfiehlt sich auf jeden Fall ein Mietwagen. Wer das nicht möchte, sollte sich lieber ein Hotel in einem der Touristenorte suchen. Uns hat gut gefallen, dass in Pal-Mar auch Einheimische wohnen. So gab es vor allem am Abend ein entspanntes Miteinander. Was uns gleich nach der Ankunft regelrecht umgehauen hat, ist die fantastische Aussicht aufs Meer. An den Sonnenuntergängen konnten wir uns nicht satt sehen. Schon von der normalen Terrasse, auf der wir immer schön frühstücken konnten, hat man einen tollen Blick; aber die Dachterrasse toppt noch einmal alles. Von hier aus kann man auch auf den Teide sehen, wenn er nicht gerade von Wolken eingehüllt ist. In unseren Augen, ist die Wohnung eine absolute Traumlocation und daher empfehlen wir sie sehr gerne weiter. Der Vollständigkeit halber sei noch erwähnt, dass die Übergabe mit Maria gut geklappt hat und die Kommunikation mit dem Eigentümer Eric sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend war.

Der Parkplatz in der Tiefgarage ist recht eng, was wir aber anhand der Beschreibung bereits wussten. Da es auf der Straße aber immer genügend Parkplätze gab, haben wir den Stellplatz gar nicht benötigt.

BE WARNED!

It turned out reasonably OK in the end, but feel very annoyed that there was no air conditioning. Roof Terrace was amazing, spectacular views. Although it’s in a biggish complex it actually felt fairly quiet and peaceful. Enough space for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Great pool with lots of loungers. Very calm location with some excellent places to eat locally. Easy to reach other parts of the island.

I feel I was deceived with false advertising. Which this property continues to do. BE WARNED! There was no air conditioning even though the property is clearly advertised as having air conditioning and was a pivotal piece of information when choosing to select a Holiday home in a country where the temperatures are 30 degrees and above. There was only 1 fan, not nearly enough for the space. It cost me more money as I had to go out and buy more fans for the apartment. I requested a partial refund for this and this was denied. I have asked the host AND booking.com to amend their description and this has not been done. The pool is not a private pool, it is a shared pool within the complex. We had to park on the street, and there wasn’t always close parking, despite it being advertised with own parking spot. Was told this wasn’t available because there was no battery in the remote, which isn’t good enough. There is no hot tub, it’s a jacuzzi feature in the bath. Not enough information in the apartment about what is available and how things work. It was on the last day I found the light above the cooker and the floaties for the pool in the storage on the roof terrace. Only eating space is outside on the lower terrace so if it rains you are stuffed!
