Located in the wooded section of Oak Island, Dream Boat Cottage is the place where dreams are made. This home has so many special amenities that you’ll want to “sail” to it again & again.

This cottage is Handicap Friendly with an Elevator & (Bedroom #1) a Primary on the Main Level with a Handicap Accessible EnSuite (Shower). All you need is your Swimsuit for this Pool as there are all the chairs & toys you need for both the pool & the beach. There is also a Beach Cart to help carry all your gear to the spot where you’ll put your toes in the sand. And don't forget the 8 seater golf cart which avoids you having to pay the paid parking fees at the beach.

The Main Level is an Open Concept Living/Dining/Kitchen Area. This Living Area has a large screen TV & lots of comfortable seating. On the Front Covered Deck you can enjoy Alfresco Dining or dine indoors at the Table or at the Large Kitchen Island. A cook will feel like a chef in this fully stocked & well-organized Kitchen. There is a Single Serve & Pot Drip Coffee Maker, Ninja Blender, Toaster Oven & Griddle. Use the Charcoal Grill to give your fresh seafood, caught or bought, that extra special flavor. There is a Pantry for storing all your groceries. This Level has the Handicap Primary Suite. Pack lighter & save room for all your new beach treasures because in the Laundry Room there is full-sized Washer/Dryer & Utility Sink.

There are 4 more Bedrooms on the Upper Level. Bedroom #2 – another Primary, King with an EnSuite. This Bath has not only a glass shower but a stand-alone large Soaking Tub. Bedroom #3 & #4 each have Bunkbeds with a Twin over a Double & share a Hall Bath (Tub/Shower combination). All the Bedrooms have TVs, Dressers, Large Closets & Luggage Racks. There are 2 Living Areas. In the Upper Living Area there is a Twin Loft Daybed with a Trundle Twin. There are also a TV, DVD (Blu-Ray) Player, Games & Toys here. If you are Mobile Working/Schooling, a desk with a Printer and paper will make it easier to work. 2 Pack & Plays are available. There is a Covered Deck on the Upper Level with Seating to enjoy a good beach read & a cup of coffee in the mornings.

On the Lower Level is a fabulous game room. There is a multi-game table with Foosball, Backgammon, Checkers/Chess, Air Hockey, & Ping Pong. If you want to continue your workout routine while on vacation, you’ll find Weights & a Yoga Mat. A Half Bath is located off this room. Step outside to the Covered Back Porch & then the Pool. The Outdoor Shower can be used to rinse off the salt & sand of your fun beach day.

My family recently stayed at the Dream Boat and it exceeded all our expectations! The home was exceptionally clean, well stocked with baby necessities and beach items, and the property management was extremely responsive to all our questions. Before arriving, we received a call that the golf cart was broken, however rest assured iTrip management made sure we had a replacement before we even arrived. The house had everything to offer for our family of 10 and we had so much space, we never felt cramped up. We particularly enjoyed all the beach equipment provided, including the sand toys and cooler, you seriously do not have to pack anything! We enjoyed using the grill provided and outdoor shower by the pool as well. Having kids with us, the door alarms for the pool area provided us with so much peace of mind for keeping our kids safe. The neighborhood was so relaxed and quiet and all the locals were extremely friendly. We loved the convenient location to the beach, grocery stores, and restaurants. Would highly recommend this house to anybody and we hope to stay again!

This house is perfect! It’s completely accurate to what it lists and has everything you need. We had 4 adults and 2 children and everyone was very pleased. We’d never been to Oak Island before, but loved the area as well. With the golf cart, you never have to go very far your entire trip if you don’t want to. The beach is beautiful and very clean too. If you’re on the fence, book it!

We had a MARVELOUS time at Dream Boat!! The beds were so comfortable, the house was so spacious, the kid toys were so thoughtful, and the golf cart was so convenient!! We will definitely be back! ;)

Loved getting away to the beach. It was very quiet and peaceful. The house is very well designed with a quiet master suite in the upstairs, and a second master suite on the main floor with the kitchen and living room. The kitchen was well equipped for preparing meals. Has a great indoor dining room and an outdoor patio dining option. Looking forward to staying here again!

My in-laws were just astounded at the place and how nice it was! The garage and elevator access to the house was super nice for everyone! They all made so many comments about how nice everything was from the rooms, the kitchen & living room, to the house location with easy beach access due to the golf cart as well as all the other Oak Island attractions. Can’t wait to go back!

So many nice touches. The home was clean, comfortable and nicely stocked. Location to the beach was great, especially with one of our favorite accessories...the golf cart! We had so much fun with it! The pool was small but enjoyed. It did seem to have trouble cleaning itself. The only thing we would change was to swap out the foosball table with a pool table but definitely a wonderful stay for our family.

Awesome house and location. The fact that it still smells new is big. Nice layout and bedrooms were cozy with comfy beds. Only downside was the thermostat was locked and made the rooms stuffy at night on the 3rd floor. Had a few dirty dishes, pans and silverware too. Last thing is we had to clean the pool ourselves because it was dirty from all the mortar/ sand from the wholes in the concrete around the pool. They did come and clean the pool about 25 minutes later and was a nice guy. Will stay again.
