Location good for the town, very close to the station and a great little quirky pub in the next street (Alexander Vaults) which is always a bonus.
Being VERY picky (but trying to be constructive), I couldn't use the cutlery knives they were too small for my hands.

The apartment was fitted with everything you could possibly need for a short stay in the saltburn area. The room I stayed in was modern and spacious. I came in to the room to find a welcome card and chocolates which immediately set things off in the right direction. The apartments are in a great location, only a few minute walk to the train station and amazing local restaurants. Only a minutes walk down to the seaside and the pier itself. Sara the host was always checking in with me to see how the stay was going and if I needed anything to make my stay more comfortable. Overall a lovely stay at the black pearl and if I'm back in the area I would love to stay back here!

Everything you needed in one place. Lovely layout, very comfortable bed, very clean. Host even left us fresh Scones as a welcome gift for our stay. Saltburn is an amazing place and it was made so even more by having such a lovely host and beautiful accommodation. 10/10

Beautifully decorated, fabulous master suite on top floor, lovely kitchen with everything you could possibly need to cook for yourself if you wanted to. Plenty of takeaways or restaurants/bars a short walk away if you don't! We didn't struggle to get parked either despite it being a busy bank holiday weekend.
The bed in the second bedroom wasn't very comfortable compared to the master bed. Very springy and firm, felt a bit cheap. It's a fair old trek up the four flights of stairs too but it didn't bother us really.

Couldn’t recommend this property more. Customer service was outstanding, the property was done to such a high standard throughout and was decorated beautifully. We had pastries left for us which was a really nice touch too. Perfect location, the beach was a stone throw away with lots to do. Will definitely be back.

Sofa wasn’t overly comfortable for long periods of time my partner was pregnant and found it hard and uncomfortable after 20 mins and could have done with a small tv for watching in bed! The couple of bad points are picky I know but we went for a chill out weekend hoping to make the most of the apartment but ended up laying in bed watching our phones over the tv. Overal really lovely place the hosts were great would return in the future

Gorgeous apartment, fantastic location - about 30seconds away from lovely bars and coffee shops. Amazing night's sleep in the brand new bed/mattress. Netflix, Prime etc on the TV. Fully equipped kitchen
Welcome chocs/card on arrival. Sat out in the garden with a cuppa, wrapped in a blanket in the morning.
Walked to Redcar and caught the train back, 12mins.

It was everything what we need for a weekend. It’s second time we use this place to stay and will use again. Near by are cafes for breakfast but also places to have a drink and have dinner.
More hooks in the bathroom.

The apartment was really clean and very cosy.
Everything what you needed was at hand.
The bed was really nice to sleep in and the shower was lovely too!
It was in a lovely little spot right near the beach. There is also shops, cafes and pubs on the doorstep so not that far to walk to go anywhere.
The garden is lovely and done out cute with nice furniture. I would like to stay again in the summer so I get a chance to chill on the garden furniture even though it was a bit cold I still sat out in the yard on a morning to drink a coffee and it was very peaceful and relaxing.
I stayed there with my dog and she absolutely loved the place. There is plenty of places to go on dog walks and most of the places around are dog friendly so we were both happy with our choice of stay.
Sara the owner is really nice and was always there at hand if needed.
We enjoyed our stay that much that we decided to stay another night.
There is nothing I didn’t like.

I stayed in the Shipwreck Cove apartment on the ground floor. This was one of the nicest places I've stayed in! The apartment was spotlessly clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Lots of nice touches here and there and clearly attention had been given to the way the apartment is kitted out. All my interactions with staff were friendly and they were quick to respond. Unfortunately (for me) I was staying there for a work visit so wasn't able to make the most of the location (which is very good). I'd be more than happy to stay again for a leisure visit and would happily recommend Black Pearl. Thanks!

Excellent location, a minute’s walk from the seafront and close to all the shops. The apartment was very modern and very clean. Sara, the host, was lovely and went out of her way to come and meet us and say hello. The Welcome gift of a box of chocolates in the apartment was very much appreciated.
More comfortable seating in the lounge area would make this apartment even more perfect.

Key access box was a little difficult, a problem shared by another apartment occupant. We were disturbed early morning and late evening by the upstairs occupants due to very creaking floorboards. We appreciate not much can be probably be done about this.

Lovely apartment in an excellent location in the centre of town. The apartment was very well laid out and had everything we needed, including four place settings of crockery/cutlery and the right amount of duvets/pillows/towels (so many 'sleeps 4' properties are geared to couples only!). The sofa bed was easy to operate and the shower worked well.
Sara was an excellent host and responded to all my texts promptly.
Saltburn itself has glorious scenery - we enjoyed walks along the headland and strolling along the promenade in the evenings. Sainsbury's and the train station are both within a few minutes walk.
We would have found a second set of keys useful, as we were in and out at different times. A larger frying pan would come in handy when cooking for 3 or 4. Also, we would have liked an oven manual, as it took us a long time to work out what all the strange symbols meant!

All the furnishings where so well thought of and it made the apartment relaxing and cosy it’s right in the centre of town lots of cafes and bars nearby
The only problem we had was the bedroom had hardly any space to get in and out of bed no problem if your slim and nibble but being picky I had to sleep in the other side but it was only two nights so happy to do that and enjoy saltburn we hope to go back soon many thanks to the team who look after the apartments they even left us some milk and a couple of danish pastries which gorgeous

The only one thing, when we usually stay in Saltburn we spend all day out with the dogs then home shower back out to a local restaurant with out the dogs but they can’t be left unattended in the apartment. Which I appreciate some dogs might not be house trained but ours would just sleep. Maybe take a damage deposit so they can stay in.

Great location lovely modern apartment main bedroom was stunning with bath. Very clean and well presented. Welcome gift a nice touch. Beds were comfortable we had a great time in Saltburn.
Didn’t really work for us as a family really missed a sink upstairs to wash face brush teeth etc the one above the toilet was too small bit weird with so much space upstairs made it more difficult than it needed to be. Kids would have enjoyed twin single beds as an option. Stairs were a mission didn’t make connection with amount of stairs and penthouse my bad.
