Welcome to Nelly's Retreat in the rolling hills of Nellysford, VA. The property includes two spacious homes that sleep up to 18 guests. Our unique property is perfect for: wedding parties, church groups, family reunions, business retreats, and multi family getaways. Nelly's Retreat is centrally located to over a dozen wedding venues and off the Route 151 Wine/Brew Trail. We are minutes away from Shenandoah National Park and Wintergreen Resort!

Whether you’ve spent the day sipping wine, or hiking the trails, there’s a place for you by the fire. The outdoor fire pit has three swings, and two comfy hammock chairs. Adjust the lights for a moody glow, grab a drink and a friend, and let your worries melt away under the stars by the fire’s edge.

Nelly's Retreat has a wonderful team. We want all our guest to have a 5 star experience. Customer service is important to us. Holly will be your main point of contact for bookings, questions, and planning. Daniel will be your main point of contact when you at check-in and through your stay.
Our home is just off the 151 wine/brew trail in a quiet country neighborhood.
We work directly with Afton Coach LLC. Book with us and you will receive a discount through them.
Services: Wine and Beer tours, Bachelorette & Bachelor parties, UVA Games, Downtown Charlottesville, Weddings, Concerts & Events, Door to Door, and Airport.
Route 151 is famously known for 26 wineries, breweries, ciders, and distilleries. We are lucky enough to be in the heart of it all! Always check online to confirm hours, services, reservations and live music!

This was the best stay, especially in this area! We utilized the recommended driver/party bus for the entire trip. The house was clean and super functional for hosting something like a bachelorette party. The hosts were soo good about communicating with us, giving us recommendations for the area and even letting us check in early which was super convenient and much appreciated. Everyone in our group kept saying how it was such a good spot for hosting something like this. Highly recommend booking and staying here.

This property was perfect for our annual trip with friends. Having bith houses allowed us to spread out, the outdoor area was perfect for everyone to gather and the location was perfect for us to visit breweries! We appreciate the hospitality and look forward to next year!
