About this house rental

This newly built beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage is situated up on the Valleyview bench with panoramic views of both Okanagan and Skaha Lake. This private setting in a cherry orchard is centrally located in Penticton. It is a 5 min drive to Skaha lake beach, Skaha Bluffs Provincial Park, biking and walking trails, the marina and tennis courts. Likewise, a stone’s throw away from shopping, grocery stores, restaurants and coffee shops. The cottage boasts plenty of private outdoor space to enjoy the sunshine, views and the natural landscapes of the South Okanagan.
Perfect for families, two couples, or a few friends to enjoy Penticton (up to max of 6 guests – best suited for 4 adults and/or 2 children). City of Penticton licensed and inspected for your safety (#00114899).
The Space:
Enjoy a large patio area overlooking a cherry orchard, including a propane BBQ. The living room and dining room are comfortable for guests who want to prepare meals in the well-equipped kitchen or relax and watch Netflix after a long day. There are 3 bedrooms: 1 King room, 1 Queen room and a third bedroom with a set of bunkbeds (double on the bottom, twin on top). Approx 1000sq' of living space.
Other things to note: This property is pet friendly and offers a generous outdoor area as well as walking right off the property. Please note that dogs must be leashed and stay within the gravel area in front of the cottage and cannot wander freely around the property. This is an active farm and orchard with spraying, farm and irrigation equipment.

If you are looking for a quiet, off the beaten path vacation with your family (including furry family members), this is the place to stay. You are up in the orchards, but still with fairly quick access to everything in town. It is incredibly quiet, and you feel totally secluded while enjoying your dinner on the patio. The house (bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen) are nicely stocked. My only comment would be if you are looking for a "lakeview" as outlined in the heading, you can't see the lakes from this location. And make sure to read the host's check-in details carefully. We didn't, so we went to the wrong gate. But it was a minor problem and we were quickly on our way.

Quiet, tidy and lovely 3 bedroom, 2 full bathrooms with small living space and decent kitchen. A/C worked very well and responsive property manager. While the location is close to everything, it is a quiet spot off of a country-type road that has good sized hills on either end. Easy to walk our dog, which was very welcome. Close to Skaha beach. Bonus of a local farm selling fresh veggies every Wed & Sat down the road while we were there! Thanks for the welcome gift and the lovely stay.

There were 5 of us. My husband and I with our parents. Loved that it was easy access and beautiful views. Private and yet still close to town. We are looking forward to another visit.

We loved our stay here. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for a very comfortable weekend. We particularly loved the view, especially at night looking down on all of the Penticton lights.

Very clean and quaint accommodation. The beds were very comfortable with perfect A/C temperature, with well equipped kitchen and bathrooms. We had a lovely time at this accommodation and agreed that we would stay here again Managing team was very accessible. Thank you

Beautiful home nestled on an orchard, away from the busyness of the city, yet only a few minutes drive to Skaha beach. The house is cosy, super clean, accessible and thoughtfully designed. Karolina, the property manager, is very responsive, helpful and provided all the information we needed in a timely way. This is one you'll want to book again!

It was amazing. Close to our in-laws. Loved the quaint privacy of the orchard Incline with parking was the only minor challenge. Otherwise, we had a lovely time.

Everything was great, highly recommended. Clean place, comfortable beds, pleasant surroundings. Welcome ciders and coffee was a nice touch. The access road is a bit rough but we had no problems with our vehicles

The cottage is cute, clean and quiet. It worked well for what we needed which was a base close to our elder family members where we could visit easily as well as make our own breakfasts and dinners. It suited two couples quite well. I would find it a little too cozy for any more than that. The reason for 4 star rating is there really isn’t a lake view from the cottage windows or patio, and it could use a little sprucing up of the outdoor space…a few flower pots perhaps and a bit of a retaining wall on the orchard side of the gravel area would go a long way to making the outside space more attractive. That said, I would rent it again and would recommend it for anyone that wants a place that’s close to everything, but nice and quiet.

Giving a good review is a two edged sword, credit where it is due! This place was the perfect place for my wife and our two dogs to spend a long weekend away. A beautiful house in a peaceful location minutes from all you want in the area. A near new house with fantastic AC 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms. The downside? Well your reading this so there is a good chance it may not be available next year.
