When we went to the room that was given to us we found that it was occupied by a female.
1.0 / 5.0
First floor room. We heard every door slam shut, including car doors all the time. No service in the evening with no hours posted at the desk when it was shut. No clean towels available. No soap in the room. Kitchen worthless without utensils or other basic kitchen needs. Room beside us pounding until after midnight. No one to tell this problem to. Long time residents should not be located on the same floor as guests, the hallway constantly stunk of food being made.

The check in process was wrought with issues. Had to use the kiosk & still wait on an employee to show up with our hotel keys that the kiosk should've been able to issue. As a result, was delayed over 45 minutes before an employee showed up, making me late for an engagement I had elsewhere.

Avoid this place like the plague! The room is spacious and clean, but that's about it.
- No soap products available in the room. Bring your own.
- Towel service is non-existent. You have to bring the towels down to the front desk and have them exchanged there.
- The two key cards that we were issued had to be reprogrammed 3 times on 3 consecutive days, which meant we didn't have access to our room every time.
- The front desk is a joke when it comes to customer service, as it is open a limited number of hours during the day, and completely closed after 5:00PM.
- On one occasion where I had to have the card keys reprogrammed, the front desk was closed at 3:14pm. Calling the hotel's customer service number was of no help. It took 20 minutes for an employee to finally open the front desk and get us going after a resident who happened to be walking by, called the hotel manager to come and help. A couple that had been waiting to check-in, left the lobby and went to a different hotel.

Clean room, reasonably priced.

Avoid this place unless you are a heavy sleeper and will bring your own pots and pans. This is the worst extended stay hotel I’ve ever seen. There’s a kitchenette, but nothing to cook with or eat with. No dishes, no utensils, no pots and pans, no dish towels. Not even a coffee pot. You get a pair of sad towels, two pillows, one bar of soap, and a sad little bottle of shampoo. That’s the extent of the amenities. And then there’s the noise. People staying here have no respect for anyone else. They come and go at all hours, let doors slam, talk incredibly loud, play music, and more. You will be woken up over and over and over throughout the night. And there’s no one on staff overnight, so the only way to deal with the noise is to call the cops. I wish I was kidding, but the women at check out told us we should have called the cops if we wanted our neighbors to quiet down at 3 a.m. It was a miserable experience and not worth the money I saved.

We stayed at this hotel because we are heading to the Lions game. The front staff was very nice and the room was very clean. The sheets were not very comfortable they smell like bleach and very stiff.

This is a fairly new hotel that appears to be going down like it has been there for years. The elevators and hallways are always dirty with trash, spilled beverages, etc. This was a business trip and we encountered people who were moving in for a month by month extended rate like apartment use. There were all kinds of food smells in the hallways. The staff was semi ok, depended on who was there. The cops were there 3 times that we know of when we stayed. Once for a domestic issue, once looking for someone, and once for someone passed out in their car(appears to have been waiting for someone and was too hot). Not a bad place just not what we expected. We have stayed in Woodspring Suites before and they were not like this one. Just know to expect the room will be clean but the elevator, hallways, and public areas were not and to see domestic issues.

Did not realize the implications of this being an "Extended Stay" hotel. Didn't have the usual amenities I expected. Examples include no in room coffee, no ice machine (I had to make my own), no Kleenex, minimal soap. Additionally, mattress had a sag on side where lamp was. Floor had no carpet which is not an issue, but it was sticky from something used to clean it.

Clean, modern. Could supply hand towels.

I really liked the decor of the room. Everything was simple and clean. The kitchen area was nice and the beds were comfortable. This was our first time at an extended stay hotel and I wish we could have stayed longer. The staff was very helpful and I felt safe while there. Will come back again.

Convenient and clean accommodations. No frills but spacious and clean. We read reviews and brought everything (plates, cutlery) to fix a simple breakfast . Great for an extended stay on a budget. May need to bring pillows as the ones provided are very slim. Walls are thin so we could hear ppl walking in the morning. Good value for its price

The service was fairly poor. No coffee. Not good for staying, should have booked a real hotel room. Still no receipt! Room was clean and pleasant.

Check-in is at 3pm, so I arrived around 5pm exhausted from a long trip, I get to the hotel and they tell me my room isn't ready. I asked for another room, & they rudely stated "we don't have any other rooms available, you just have to wait until your room is ready." You would think they would try to keep me satisfied or apologize or accommodate me, but they didn't care. I then have to leave and returned by 7pm, & the whole place smelled like marijuana (the room, lobby, hallway, everywhere). And to top it off, it was so noisy. I DO NOT recommend this hotel at all, save yourself, you have been warned.

Room is not bad
But housekeeping was not an option every day

Nobody at the front desk. It was closed with shutter down. No coffee at all. No ice machine

Nice location and it was in close proximity to all the things we wanted to do in the city with limited time. Arrived an hour early and was charged $25 for one hour early check in which seemed excessive.

Not as cleaned as expected. Easy access to the place and plenty of parking available.

The hotelnis fairly new but has paper thin walls. Its very loud. I was up most of the night to various rooms around me making regular noises. It is as if there is no noise dampening. The front desk is not staffed for after hours and is difficult to get a hold dueing regular hours.

The room was clean. We could not get the temperature regulated, it was freezing at night. The stove did not work and unfortunately the front desk was closed by the time we realized it and we had bought groceries. No in room amenities, you have to pay for a set of pots to use. Iron and ironing board at the front desk… if you can catch them there. Simply a place to lay your head rather than for an extended stay. No hand towels just washcloth and bath towel. Bare minimum.

The $25 early check fee took me aback initially since I've NEVER experienced that. There was a marijuana smell throughout the hotel. Guest were smoking directly in front of the entry doors around midnight. And like others have stated there's a $7 towel exchange fee(who knew that was a thing), no toiletries whatsoever and 2 pillows that were as flat as a pancake on the beds. Our room also had blemishes on the wall.

Variety of resturants to choose from, not just fast food. Close to downtown Detroit with 4 major sport arenas. Concert Hall bars, clubs and the Casinos Short drive to Canada. Prime location for family or couples

The property and staff was great! The only thing is it's right across the street from the ghetto. I grew up there. But I came here motel five star because you guys did a very great job and a very dangerous neighborhood
4.0 / 5.0
There was no one at desk at night when problems like
other tenants make noise
3.0 / 5.0
The lobby and outside trash was always full and was dirty. There was a blood stain on the concrete outside of the front doors which made us very uncomfortable about our surroundings even though in the end it seemed fine. The rooms were clean, it was good for last minute but I don’t want to come back to this location.

My mom and I like having the shopping mall and restaurants near us, the outside and inside of the building was nice and clean. We didn’t like how small the bed were, the two little pillows we received, there wasn’t a blow dryer, shampoo, conditioner, or no house keeping to tidy up the room a bit for us. My mom also didn’t like how she was told that she had to bring down her towels and get a replacement of her own, instead of the maid coming upstairs to bring her new towels. Also, there were a few towels that were still dirty. I wish the gym was a little bigger, that they served cold breakfast at the hotel, and I wish the front desk stayed open until midnight. Overall, I give the hotel 3.5 out of 5 starts because the hotel was nice it just didn’t have more amenities to choose from or much accommodations for the guest. I also felt like the stash should have been more welcoming. I just didn’t get that energy from them. I think it’s a good hotel if you’re only staying for a few days and don’t plan to be there for like a week or more.
