Just fulfill basic needs kind of stay.

Good location nearby beach. Basic bed and toilet. Friendly and helpful staff, Carl.

Dirty floor and toilet. Noisy environment from upper floor. Terrible wifi reception.

We wouldn’t book it again

Welcoming decorations, the aircon was turned on for us prior to arrival which was nice in 40+ degrees. Spacious living area and kitchen.

Unfortunately no one was there for check in and no one answered the phone. Thankfully the neighbour knew the code for the door and let us in so we didn’t have to wait outside and then got a hold of the person in charge - who never called us back sadly. Second disappointment were the cockroaches in the kitchen which we then also had in our luggage. There were cockroach traps set up in the kitchenette already but clearly not doing the trick.

Für eine Nacht gut. In der Nähe vom Strand, Restaurants etc.

1 WC und 1 Dusche für 8 Zimmer ist zu wenig. Und das Bad war ein wenig schmuddelig.

Not what we expected

Position. Good shower water although shower looked terrible. Toilet paper rate 5/5

No tv or fridge in room, only communal place downstairs

It was good as I only stay as an overnight stop. The place is quiet so you can have a decent rest.

I love the location and the view from the balcony. The overall property was clean,neat and nice.

Except the bathroom could use a little renovation.

Decent spot to stay when you’re on a budget

Easy to check in, parking was fine. Room upstairs was roomy and comfy

The ground floor smelt like curry but can’t be helped when people are sharing the kitchen. Lounge downstairs was basic but I suppose you’re not there for the lounges

Basic but pricey accommodation on a busy long weekend, but did the job for an overnight stay.

Dorm room with ensuite, adjacent to a communal kitchen and lounge room. Friendly and helpful staff.

Expensive for what it was. Parking was tight on a busy weekend.

Never come back

Staffs were not friendly. We booked two rooms, both private and shared bathrooms were very dirty, all of us didn’t shower because it is really gross. They made up the bed but you can still find stains and dirts on the beddings. Can find somewhere so much better with this price. Once we arrived we found that they are the same accommodation as the backpacker next door. Very disappointing.

Showers have no water pressure and mould on lower tiles. Regulating the temperature was almost impossible. Rooms and facility are very noisy.

Basic but fine

Beds comfortable and heating/cooling worked well. Rooms are newly renovated and share kitchen had everything we needed. One street back from water - great location

Not at all what I thought it would be....

Staff welcoming, very casual, showed us around facilities and gave advice on where to eat, supermarket times etc The location is great able to walk to supermarket, pubs, waterfront etc but this is where the good points stopped.

Unable to see any signage, found the accommodation next door to it and then knew we had the right place. Sign out front says Kalbarri backpackers (seen it after a car parked on the front grass blocking it moved). Limited car packs, could’ve been an issue but it wasn’t for us, we arrive early. Facilities one star… The toilet, there was no paper towels and no liquid soap at the shared basin. Bed linen navy/dark colour and malodorous, grose! ?Clean towels provided. Spacious kitchen with utensils, minimal tea and coffee available. Coffee was expired. Mice traps visible in all corners. Shower was a bit derelict but functional. Single use toiletries supplied had been reused, refilled. Bed was firm but comfy. The lighting in the room was one office light, had one chair and a bedside table, no lamp. The door when closed moved constantly with drafts and banged. Had to put a bag against it to stop it. Noise from other residents very audible. But all quiet by 10pm ish.

Never again

there were no facilities like TV tea making no tables or chairs. It was very noisy even up till midnight and after. I guess it was next to a backpackers or still part of. Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone unless it was for young people The location was hard to find too

Atleast it was a bed for two nights.

- The price was good. - The staff were welcoming

- There is no signage to the location. Its actually part of the backpackers. Took us 30 mins to locate by asking all the other places around and looking like a fool. Owner didnt answer phone tried calling 3 times, but they did text me back about an hour later - Definetly not suitable for a family, quiet time is after 11pm - There is no door on the shower or toilet and poor drainage so water just goes everywhere. - Queen bed was just 2 singles pushed together, at different heights as well so not a comfy cuddle. - Room creaked on every step and rattled the door - Says theres parking but its on a first come first served basis and most of the backpackers already had it. - Shower windows had no flywire so mosquitos and flys entered room if you wanted to get the steam from the shower out. - All facilities outside of the shower and toilet are down stairs and shared with others.
