Dreamy, dog-friendly home w/private gas grill, forest views, and carriage house! Very close to Lake Rabun Beach and Angel Falls picnic and hiking area. Can sleep 8. Main house sleeps 6, carriage house sleeps 2 more.. Spend your next North Georgia vacation cozied up in this beautifully decorated and thoughtfully laid out mountain home. Start your mornings right with a fresh cup of coffee, take in that crisp morning air and serene valley view in the screened-in porch. Make your meals at home and feed the whole family, utilizing the private gas grill and fully equipped kitchen. After spending time on the lake or hiking the nearby trails, end your day on a peaceful note by building a fire in the wood-burning stove. The main home features a bedroom with a king bed on the main floor and an en suite bathroom. On the lower floor, guests can bunk out on in one bedroom with a queen bed and one with two twin beds (with one bathroom between them). The detached carriage house studio offers a kitchenette, one king bed, and a sitting area with a television and plenty of privacy. This is a perfect space for adult children and their growing families. Also great as an overflow location for large groups at Lake Houses.

Surrounded by the great outdoors, you'll be just under a mile-and-a-half from the Rabun Beach Recreation Area, known as a hiker's paradise with its winding trails and vast mountain scenery. Hike the Angel Falls Trail, a family-friendly two-mile trek where you'll discover Angel Falls and Panther Falls (just under 13 miles away). Just a drive little over 13 miles will put you in downtown Clayton, where you'll have endless options for dining, shopping, and more!

Perfect location for a peaceful family getaway. Loved the property. Something for everyone to do. Hiking distance from the cabin to Angel falls. Short drive to lake Rabun beach area to put in kayaks and a swimming area for the younger ones. Minnehaha falls is a must see off the beaten track.

The house is beautifully decorated and equipped. It provided privacy and seclusion. For us, it was a little too far secluded to buy food and supplies or get a meal out. It sits in the forested area so there is no view, which is of importance to us but that is just us.

Nice, comfortable house. Perfect location for a wedding we attended in Lakemont. Walked to Angel Falls from house. Great stay!

Very nice home for our trip to an archery tournament. Extremely dog friendly with leash holder right beside door, bowls and treats. Hardwood floors, comfy furniture and all the kitchen supplies you need! Would recommend and definitely would stay again if in the area! Thanks for opening your home!

We stayed here for thanksgiving. The kitchen was 100% equipped with everything we needed to cook the meal. When they say dog friendly they mean it. It has really been arranged to make it convenient to bring your furry family.

I considered rating less for "Accuracy of online listing" because this cabin is so much more than what was promised. Very well stocked kitchen, which is the first thing I always look for in a cabin. Large refrigerator, gas stove, toaster oven and so many dishes you could be a bum and not wash dishes for a week (please don't do that, but you really could). The silence is amazing! Near the end of the entry road so very little traffic passes. There is a wood stove fireplace and available fire wood. The drive to Terra Incognita is only about 2 1/2 miles which make this a perfect location if you are attending a wedding there. If you want to be near Lake Rabun (No lake view but we did not mind nor expect it) and have complete peace and quiet, this is the place!

Such a clean and wonderful house located in beautiful northern Georgia! Close to so many hiking trails and waterfalls that you can’t even imagine! Super peaceful and so well equipped that you can forget all your troubles, if you want to just get away and stay secluded or have a short drive (about 1.5 hours to Atlanta) to the night life of the big city this lovely location is a great base camp! One of the most thoughtful for our pets also!

The listing says there is a hot tub, but if there is, we couldn't find it. We also had to reach out to the leasing company because we never got the code for the door until we asked as we were driving to the house.
