Shower did not work well. Staff came and replaced shower head. Shower was better after that. Sink leaked on counter when turned on. Toilet had a crack in it. Trim at bathroom door was rotted. Entry door has a big gap and lets the cold air in.

King room smaller than expected - photos are misleading. What little is not old and worn, is the least acceptable new replacement. A giant TV was the standout but the remote was intermittently inoperable. New toilets were being installed - as evidenced by the pallet of them just outside the office - but one in my room was improperly installed and the lid would not stay up. As a man who prefers to use the toilet standing up at least some of the time, this was inconvenient. The floor around the base was also always damp, leading me to guess it was leaking. Hot water pressure and temperature were both next to non-existent in the shower but very hot and forceful in the sink. The sink drain plug had been removed but was on the counter. But, it didn’t seal when reinstalled. Only one bath towel was provided, but two hand towels and washcloths. I don’t mind re-using a towel, but if I’d had my wife with me, it would have necessitated a trip to get another towel. King bed was comfortable, but would have benefited from a third pillow as the two provide were queen size. The table, chairs and dresser were very old and worn and looked shabby. The small refrigerator worked well, but the freezer was so frozen over that little would fit in it. I had considered some ice cream from the nearby grocery store but glad I didn’t as it would been a waste. Dark wooden laminate flooring is attractive but needs deeper cleaning. The dark wood apparently hides it well - my socks not so much.

The main area of the room was nice looking. It had a large tv and the beds were comfortable. The negative was the bathroom. Bugs and crickets in bathroom, and the bathroom needs updating.

The room was clean. Bed was comfortable. I enjoyed walking down to the river. The toilet was leaking. I think it needs to be replaced. The bathroom door was pretty nasty at the bottom possibly from the leak. Very little TP in the room when we checked in.

When we arrived, the room was ungodly hot. Our room was easily 100 degrees. When we called the front desk to inquire the phone was not plugged in and the cord to plug it in was missing. My husband went to the front desk and was met by some unwelcoming staff. They explained the A/C doesn't get turned on until we get to the room. They later brought a working phone to the room. The morning of check out a knock was made on our door at 10:00am an hour before check out. We were made it very apparent we were still in the room. Five minutes after the knock they proceeded to open the door. Needless to say we will not be returning.

Room was comfortable and partially updated, though some work is still needed. Also, we killed about a half dozen baby roaches in the bathroom, so extermination is probably needed before the remaining babies grow up into real pests and lay eggs.

Everything was great except the provided breakfast. The scrambled eggs were awful! No other complaints. Easy check in, room was good size and comfortable. Nice amenities. Will definitely stay there again if ever in Bandera!!

I enjoyed everything about the property, its quiet and conveinent to everything in Bandera. Enjoyed the service from checkin to check out. The breakfast was really decent as well. I would like to suggest that they look at the toilet in RM 110, it is very slow flushing and seems to not have enough water to continue to flush everything. Other than than minor detail, will stay again and am booked for 2 dates in October. Keep up the great work

The first room smelled very strong of cleaning solution and the toilet didn't flush. We were moved to another room and when we flipped on the light about 15 baby roaches ran in all directions on the counter under TV. There were baby roaches in the microwave. By this time it was late, so we slept with all the lights on and left very early in the morning. I would not recommend this place.

The property was nice, they have a bar and restaurant on site so that made it easy to walk across the parking lot. They do offer a hot breakfast as well which is a good plus.

Staff was kind and AC was strong, but room was dirty and not maintained. Odd smell in room and grimy walls, surfaces, and bathroom. Had bugs running around in the bathroom. Toilet didn't flush properly and the shower was constantly dripping. I strong armed it and it slowed a bit but was still dripping. Towels were very worn and had holes. Needless to say, I won't be back and wouldn't recommend this place. Pay the extra $50 to stay at the best western.

Overall the stay was good. The photos online are definitely "enhanced", but give the cost of the rooms, I assumed they were. None of that was an issue and the room was clean. The lighting is less than desirable, but it not a deal breaker if we were to return. Bed was nice, sheets clean and super soft. The only issue we kept having was the parking. Oh my gosh, it's terrible due to the restaurant being right there. Our room was 114 so on the back side, right whete the restaurant sits. We came back many times and there was no parking even by our room, like at all. That was extremely frustrating, so that would be my only "beware of". If you have a lot to unload/load, that could be an issue. Otherwise, you can't beat the cost and value of the room itself! We 100% would stay again for those reasons.

THE SHOWER STAYED HOT FOR AS LONG AS YOU WANTED, BUT THE BATHROOM SINK WAS UNUSABLE MAJOR LEAK, AND I HAD NO CABLE OR NETWORK TV. THE COMP. BREAKFAST WAS TERRIBLE,AND THERE WAS A CREAPY EMPLOYE WATCHING YOU GET YOUR FOOD

It was awful! The grounds had beer caps cigarettes and plastic cups as you drive up! Room was ok! But the service was awful! Had to talk into a window opening! The “free” breakfast was a joke! Cereal-no milk??? Had to eat in an empty hotel room??? No restaurant space ??? A toaster but no bread???? Eggs and sausages were ice cold heater not turned on??? No other food??? Even the TV didn’t work! No one to help no person at front desk-everyone had disappeared!

Breakfast service was terrible. They ran out of food before we arrived at 8am, and had no more supplies. No eggs, no milk for cereal. The attendent barely spoke English and only said, "Please see Manager". Office was closed until 9 am, so no Manager on duty. Terrible mangement, suggest you find another hotel.
