Inside, the open-concept living space is laidback yet considered – with natural textures in abundance and waxy leaf plants providing a sense of cosiness. After an extra-long snooze in the comfortable beds, sit down to a light breakfast put together at your sleek kitchenette. Plan your itinerary from the comfort of the contemporary sofa, then throw on your sun hat and explore the city. Take a stroll around Parque Eduardo VII before enjoying a hearty lunch in a nearby traditional tasca. If sightseeing is on the agenda, weave through the winding streets on the 28 tram to the old-world Alfama district or hop off at Cais do Sodré and check out the Livraria Bertrand (the world’s oldest book shop), Carmo Convent and the grand Praça do Comércio.
