This place was terrible. Our room reeked of marijuana, the sheets were not clean and we had to go purchase our own bedding, there was fecal matter smeared on our bathroom walls, the shower did not drain nor was clean (it was very rusted and had mold and mildew all around), and the toilet did not flush well. I would not stay here again nor recommend it to anyone.

Fine for a cheap hotel. Room had a strange smell in it. They claim they’re non smoking but someone was for sure smoking weed in their room. They renovated but it’s cheap and overall just kind of dirty feeling, such as stained bedding and random stuff on the walls.

we were on our way home from Wisconson, it was late and we knew we would not be there till around 10. It looked nice on the website and the price was right for a quick one nighter. The hotel was in very good condition. The halls had to be redone, and the room was fine, but everything was in need of cleaning. There was bits all over the carpeting in the halls, the room bathroom needed a good scrubbing. Other than that it was in very good condition.

First impressions are always important. When my family first pulled up to the hotel, our first thought was that this place looks sketchy. Checking in was easy and the front staff was friendly. When we go to the room, we wlnoticed the bed areas to be clean. The bathroom was a different case though. The tub looked like it hasnt been clean for awhile and the drain area still had left over broken body soap bar. We immediately left the room and told front desk. They were gracious and quick with switching us to another room. When we went into this room, we checked the bathroom first and it was clean. So we settled ourselves. After putting away our things is when we noticed there were what we believed to be red dye/stain on the white blankets. We had a long day of 9 hrs driving. We were to tired to go back to complain and there were no where else we could check into at this point since other places were reserved due to welcome weekend at Notre Dame. So we just pilled the blanket off and left it in a corner and used the blankets we had in the car. Would not be staying here again and won't be recommending it to others

Hotel was okay. Stairs and hallways need to be vaccumed regularly. A musty odor in the hallway and some rooms. Upon arrival, we had no toilet paper in the bathroom. Staff was responsive though.

Receptionist was friendly, renting the room was an ease. The cleanliness was excellent. Our bed was comfortable, and the atmosphere was very quiet.

The place is very nice, there were kids hanging outside at night making noise, think a party was going on in one of the rooms, dirnking and smoking ID's shuld be checked . I would have liked the front desk to let you know no room service. the message was on mirror we didn't see it till after. breakfast was great. staff was nice.

The room was not clean. Hair and stains on the bedding and in the shower. The toilet ran for most of our stay. The service staff attempted to fix it but were unsuccessful. I was disappointed on the marijuana smell in a non smoking facility. Over all the stay was not great. Would not recommend for future visits.

Absolutely filthy! Scum and hair in the drain. Floors were not swept. Spills on the dresser. Questionable smears on the walls. We would have left, but the area hotels were full for an event at the stadium.

Room floor was sticky. Toilet dirty. Bathroom over all was in not very good shape. Toilet itself was low to floor & would be difficult for older person to get off from as there is no handicap bar except in shower. Bed was decent as was size of room. Bedside light was missing light bulb.

This property is unsanitary and unsafe. The check in process was easy but the overall hotel was disgusting. The room smelled of stale smoke and we could smell people smoking cigarettes and marijuana in their rooms. The rooms were disgusting and not cleaned. Hair, pubic hair, dirt and soap scum in the shower. Sheets were dirty and stained. Missing pillow cases with dirty makeup covered pillows. Sprinkler in room was covered in tape. If there was a fire you would be in harms way. Window to room was left unlocked and had no screen in it. Was asked to view 2 other rooms on the second floor to see if we wanted to change rooms and they were in worse condition then the one we were assigned. This hotel is a safety concerned and needs to be reviewed. The only nice thing was the lovely staff Annie who checked us in and out and tried to do everything she could in her power to help.

The property definitely has potential but it will take a lot. The rooms were clean-ish. We had to switch rooms because the sheets were dirty in the first 2 rooms and then had to get the sheets changed on one of the beds in the second room. The bathrooms left a lot to be desired. The toilet in one of our rooms did not flush and then ran all night long. My husband had to turn off the water to get it to stop. The floors in the showers were gross and we had to stand on towels to shower. Apparently the smoking area outside was right next to our rooms as periodically we could smell smoke as it was being brought in by the A/C units. It was also very noisy and we could hear the people fighting in the room next door, doors slammed all night long and we could hear every single person who walked down the hall. The breakfast was very limited in the morning with only apples, toast (white) and waffles available. We ended up stopping for breakfast after checking out. Fortunately we only stayed one night.

This room was disgusting. Should have left the moment we walked down the hallway and it wreaked of smoke and weed. The room had its own unique smell, the tub looked like someone had pooped in it. Hotel staff claimed it as cleaning chemicals and fine. Couldn’t get out of there fast enough.

I was pleasantly surprised to see that the room was clean and tidy with all the necessary items: iron, ironing board etc. The staff was responsive and polite. However, the hotel seems to be understaffed as there was no one to bring a missing item up to the room as there was only one person at the front desk.

We booked 3 rooms for 2 nights and left after one night. If we had been able to get into town to check in earlier we would not have stayed the first night. There was a heavy weed smell in the halls. We found chewed gum in one of the beds and crumbs in another. The kids feet and socks were black after walking around on the floors for less than an hour. The tubs appeared very dirty but were just so old that the porcelain was gone leaving a black/brown rust appearance across the bottom of the tubs. I’m not sure if that was also what was going on with our toilet but it looked like no toilet bowl cleaner had been used on the inside of the toilet bowl for quite some time. The floors in the rooms appeared to be newish and the staff was friendly at check in but the cleanliness issues were more than we could handle. We were told we had to work with Expedia for a refund and that the hotel could not give one.

AC was under powered so the room barely was able to stay cool, toilet paper was ultra sheer so you can't get clean, only 1 cart shared by many people and no working public bathroom means you have to hike all the way on opposite side of hotel in only your room to use bathroom. Not pleasant but similar to a camping trip.

Obviously, just remodeled, but they totally missed the mark. Painted the walls but patches in the wall were visible, painted over pealing wall paper and corner guards, and cut in work was bad. Tub had rust stains and tile grout was dirty. I little CRL would have helped. Sink countertop was not cleaned well. The sheets were stained. Also, the smoke detector in the room was covered in plastic, either from the recent painting or someone smoking on the room. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Hallway had an odd smell. We did not stay for breakfast, because we had to get on the road before it was served. Saved $100 compared to other hotels in the area, but I wish I would have stayed somewhere else. Won’t be back.

The staff and owners were very nice and very responsive. The hotel was clean surrounding area is a little sketchy. But that is not the hotel fault. It’s definitely close to Notre Dame University. Which is great location.

We had hopes about this property after seeing it was recently renovated. Unfortunately, it seems these renovations are surface level only. There were stains on the sheets, toilet had rust stains all the bottom, walls thin, and the carpets looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed or cleaned at all. That being said, the staff was very kind.

Never made it there. Hit a deer in western Pennsylvania on the way and had t get a rental car and return home Had a very frustrating experience with your website and phone service trying to cancel the booking. Hotel in the morning refused to cancel unless we did it through Expedia The website couldn’t find the reservation. Was on hold on phone calls for over half hour only to have calls dropped Finally got someone at hotel after 7 in the evening to cancel reservation Overall a very bad experience
