The property is nice, comfortable, clean and in a calm neighbourhood, however there are 3 points that I should have been informed to make a better decision: 1. There is NO PARKING. Although parking is permitted at night and on weekends on the street, the spots are always occupied with local cars with parking permits. Conclusion: One has to pay for private parking ($8.50 per day) 2. It is not that close to the city centre, it's at least 20 minutes walking at a good pace. Give yourself 30 minutes to get to the city centre. 3. Last but not least, the height of the second level where most of the rooms and one bath are is 1.65m approx. Me and my party had to walk crouched and hit our heads several times.

We got there at night and we were lucky enough to find a parking spot on the street right in front of building. We had a Wagoneer, Jeep and we had a really hard time parking it indoors due to the height. Narrow scary stairs to get to the apartment but once there- it was perfect. The apartment was on the top floor. Wide open concept. It was very clean. We did not cook but the kitchen seem well equipped. The upstairs (second floor)has very low ceilings. Plenty of rooms. Very comfy and spacious but low ceilings which some of us had to remember to bend over while walking upstairs. Washer/dryer great feature. Second bathroom upstairs was useful. Great location to walk around the city. My only con was the parking. And that was because we had a bigger car. We were a total of 8. If u have a smaller car I am sure there would be no issues. The apartment worked great for us. Plenty of space.

We had a lovely stay! The apartment is located more in the non-touristy area, which we loved. So close to local shops, restaurants and there was a farmer’s market on Saturday. 10 minute walk to Old Quebec and all the tourist shops, restaurants, etc. The actual apartment is on the third floor, up some steep stairs. Stairs to the second floor within the unit are very steep as well and the upstairs ceiling is very low (best for people 5’ 5” and under). The host was very responsive and came over right away when we had a blown fuse. Everything was very clean. There was plenty of room for us to hang out together and overall, we had a very enjoyable stay!

The downstairs living area was very nice with plenty of space for our large group, with a nice double sink bathroom. The kitchen was very well provisioned with plenty of cooking gear, plates, bowls and utensils, which is a rarity. It should be noted that the upstairs ceilings are 5 1/2 feet, which was a little challenging since 6 of the people in our group was over 6'. Several us banged our heads. But we literally just slept up there, so not a huge deal. There is also a VRBO below this apartment (2 small apartments) that we also rented, so 16 of us were able to stay together, which was awesome. And there were was enough dinnerware for all 20 of us!

The apartment is charming, the upper 2 floors of an historic 4 story building (be ready for stairs), with spacious living area, comfortable back balcony, 1 BR and bath on first level and 4 comfortable bedrooms plus 1 bath upstairs (one note - ceiling height is ~6', so the taller ones in our party had to duck while upstairs). Two bathrooms total with plenty of hot water, one with enclosed shower - the other is a tub with handheld shower. Location is excellent -- close to a major street with cafes and shops, easy walk to the old city, easy walk to the museums and citadel, easy walk to St Roche. The teens in our party were easily entertained and able to explore on their own. Our host was lovely and attentive, and the apartment was super clean on check-in. The only caveat, for which I deducted one star from our overall rating, is that parking is not easy. There is street parking available (free on the weekends), but it requires a short walk (6-8 blocks) each morning to purchase a full day parking pass for the daytime street parking. The payment machine was broken the 2nd day of our stay and we were not able to easily locate other payment stations, though our host tried to help, which created some stress. There is also currently significant roadworks in progress in the neighborhood which further reduces the available parking. But if you're car free, it's a great apartment and a great location! With this knowledge in hand, we would happily stay here again!

Our family of 10 enjoyed staying at this property. We were traveling with grandparents, kids & partners, and grandchildren, and we fit nicely in the large property. The kitchen is well stocked and allowed us to eat many meals at the property. The air conditioning worked well (though there is one bedroom upstairs without an AC unit). The shower was large and had good water pressure. The location is really great. There is good food nearby along the lovely St. Jean, and you can easily walk to old city. The downstairs has been remodeled and is very new (as shown in the pictures). The upstairs feels more haphazard, but was fine for us because we weren't spending much time at the property and were only upstairs to sleep and dress. The owner should note in the description that the upstairs hall ceiling is less than 6', and the upstairs bedroom ceilings are less than 5'8" (I had to stoop when standing in them). It's claustrophobic for small people and would be impossible for anyone particularly tall. But we did just fine and appreciated having lots of bedrooms with comfortable beds in addition to the very comfortable downstairs. The upstairs bathroom has a comically low ceiling, though. But hey, there's a nice washer/dryer, which was helpful. Note that this is a third floor walk-up, and the stairs are steep. Our grandparents in their mid-70s handled them fine, but had to take it slow.

The apartment was quite large and well laid out. Our large group fit very comfortably and the kitchen/dining/living common area was a great place to hang out. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go including old quebec and the grocery store. Karl was very responsive. The stairs to get in are steep.

The only concern that i would've appreciated to know before i rent is that the celling on the second floor and almost all the bedroom and one of the bathroom is about 5 feet celling. It would be nice that you mention that in your listing because for adult over 5.5 feet it was really annoying
