About this house rental

We offer this charming 185 m² air-conditioned villa with swimming pool for rent in Saint-Médard-en-Jalles, which can accommodate up to 12 guests. It features a lovely 60 m² living room (with pellet stove and table soccer), a separate fully-equipped kitchen, six bedrooms, two bathrooms (with shower) and a 700 m² garden. Bed linen and towels are included. We're waiting for you!

The accommodation is composed as follows:

First floor:
- A 60 m² living room with TV, pellet stove (pellets included), sitting area and dining area.
- A fully-equipped kitchen with electric kettle, oven, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, hotplates, large freezer...
- Bedroom 1: King-size bed (200×200)
- Bedroom 2: Bunk bed (sleeps 3)
- Bathroom with shower / double washbasin
- Separate WC

Second floor:
- Bedrooms 3 to 6: One queen-size bed (160×200)
- Bathroom with shower
- Separate WC

For even greater comfort, the owners have decided to invest in the following additional equipment: gas barbecue/plancha, baby high chair, washing machine, cot, tumble dryer, ironing board and iron, table soccer, ping-pong table, darts and board games, Netflix and Canal+...

Exterior:
- A private swimming pool, heated by an enclosed shelter = +7°C to +10°C and secure, 10m x 5m, open from April 15 to October 30 (opening dates non-contractual, depending on the weather).
- A beautiful 700 m² enclosed garden divided into three parts:
Part 1: Entrance with 5 parking spaces
Part 2: A south-east-facing terrace of approx. 200 m² with swimming pool and furniture for enjoying fine weather. This part opens onto the living/dining room with its sliding glass doors.
Part 3: A 200 m² south-west-facing terrace with furniture, barbecue, large outdoor table and ping-pong table.

The house is ideally located in Saint-Médard-en-Jalles, in a very pleasant environment. You'll be close to all the essential shops as well as boutiques, restaurants, bars, market...

- Bordeaux-Lacanau cycle path 300 m away
- Popular forest and mountain bike trails (travelers from all over the EU) 800 meters away
- Visits to the Médoc and its vineyards and châteaux, tastings, Saint-Emilion...

Villa Hakuna Matata "The house was absolutely fantastic! We were a family of 4 adults and 4 children. The childrens room was downstairs next to the living room so no need to worry about stairs. The dining table could seat an army and the television was huge for nighttime movies. The beds were so comfortable with shutter blinds to block out all light and the kitchen was stunning with everything you could need and want. For the first time ever we ate in nearly every night using the bbq. The absolute star of the show was the pool. Wow!!! Just so clean and big. The kids where in it every day, even in the rain. The only downside was the downstairs shower that only had a curtain on the door, soiff someone else was using the downstairs bathroom you felt a little exposed. But something you could get over. I would recommended the use of a car to get to the beautiful sea side towns. But nothing we needed and wanted to do was more than an hour away from this property. An ideal distance from the airport. Thank you!"

Villa Hakuna Matata "We had a lovely stay here. It was spotless when we arrived and getting in was easy. The dining space (inside and out) was great for group meals and we used the bbq a lot - we ran out of gas at one point and the owner was very quick to come and replace it which we appreciated. The pool area is really well laid out with loungers/chairs/bean bags but unfortunately the pool was advertised as heated, but it is not and it was very cold. It has a very good motorised hard cover to go over it but this didn’t do anything for warming the pool. The bedrooms and bathrooms are quite simply done but were but were enough for what we needed. The only bad point is the downstairs bathroom has no door and instead has a shower curtain which made it not feel private. All in all we had a great stay."

Villa Hakuna Matata We went early April. The house was beautiful and even managed a dip in the pool! The house was great for a large group, great kitchen for cooking and very clean. Only 2 toilets for a large group but other than that perfect! Would definitely go back

Villa Hakuna Matata "An amazing stay at this lovely villa. It was perfect for a group of 11 friends to spend time together and relax. Plenty to entertain throughout the day (darts, table tennis & pool) and the pool was amazing to relax at with plenty of beds and comfy bean bags. The apartment was extremely clean and well equipped for our stay. Would it be possible to add an english version of the information pack? The booklet was very useful but difficult for us to use not being fluent in french. Local supermarkets and food in the surrounding area but around 20 minutes walk to these. Would definitely visit again!"

Villa Hakuna Matata The accommodation was ideal for our needs, we felt very comfortable, everything was as described - especially the kitchen and the pool were great! We will be happy to come back again when we are there as a group! The hosts were very accessible and always super nice.
