I stayed at the hotel before they took over and redid it, AND WOW they did an amazing job cleaning up the place. Would recommend anyone staying here. Very clean and friendly

Fine room with comfortable beds, but our bathroom had mold on the walls and seemed worn down. Staff was generally friendly, but mixed experience. Breakfast was below expectations - lot’s of sugar and fat. The gym was OK, but lacking equipment.

The place was hopping when we arrived (wedding), But they got us checked in and our room was great. Room was a bit noisy due to busy roads, but fan on the AC took care of that issue. Really good cinnamon buns for breakfast.

Sorry the room was not as prepared as should be. Trash not emptied. Last person left drinks in frig. No tissues and no wash cloths in bathroom.

Service was amazing, kudos to Friday at the front desk.
Hotel hosts shows/music performances/different activities every night- for the first night we stayed there was a music performance and for the second night there was a drag show for those who purchased tickets for it.
As for the cleanliness- we discovered the main blanket was full of mold (see pics attached) and didn’t use it the whole stay.
Comfort- bed and pillows were pretty stiff.
The air conditioner didn’t turn off, unless we took the plug out.
The first night we stayed the water in the shower were totally cold but the next day they were hot, which was quite weird.
Low value for money.
All in all, a mediocre option for a one or two night stay in Scranton on a longer trip.

The stay was really great the hotel was clean it was confortable and the staff was amazingly sweet. Would stay again no doubt.

Stayed overnight for a concert. The contactless check in/out made things super convenient. The building looks dated from the outside buts it’s very well done inside. Don’t let the looks deceive you!

Overall - very good! I liked the decor, and the price (thru Expedia) was right. On the whole, the place looked great. However , the ceiling over our bathtub looked like it had been wet and might fall in, and the entry door to the room stuck really bad.
Coffee was good - but breakfast hours of 6-8 are unfriendly, especially on a weekend. And the breakfast options were pitiful.

Breakfast on a Sunday ended at 8am. That is not a reasonable hour to end breakfast for people on vacation on a Sunday. We did not make it in time and I think very few people did.

Tristian at the reception was the best part of our stay - he was so kind and helpful!!
The rooms were clean, however the mattress needs upgrading. The breakfast needs a lotttt of work.
Overall, it was a great stop during our long drive and the city of Scranton in incredible beautiful. For the price, I would stay here again!

Fan in bathroom didn’t work Toilet paper holder falling off the wall. Heat lamp in bathroom didn’t work. Door handle on bathroom door falling off. Door into room misaligned and extremely hard to close. Clock in room had wrong time and handle broken to reset it. Pillows on bed in desperate need of a cleaning.
No chance we would stay here again.

Overall this property definitely met out needs, except the free continental breakfast was over at 8 am, which is unheard of at any hotel/motel/lodging I've ever stayed in, and I travel a good bit. Coffee available was okay, but no creamer for dairy free/calorie watchers. Other than that it was a very pleasant stay. Thanks!

The staff at the reception desk was very welcoming and nice.
Overall it was ok, but the property is dated and we could even lock the door.
Also, most annoying thing was that near midnight a technician or someone from the hote thought it is legitimate to try to fix a door in the hallway and drill or something. Very annoying.

Property is a bit tired and in need of some TLC. Staff was super friendly and our room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast options were pretty basic.

Property needs significant renovation and upkeep. During my entire stay there, I did not see one housekeeper or maintenance. Person floors are dirty. Hotel is musty with dehumidifiers in the hallway.

The man that checked us in was PHENOMENAL. But that's where the good portion of this review ends. Hallways are dark and gloomy. Pool did not have towels and despite many guests asking, more towels were not provided. We went up to our room soaking wet. Lobby area looks nice but does not reflect what rooms look like. Major renovation needed.

Really lengthy check in process at 10pm with a line of people checking in. Then our key didn't work and had to change rooms. The room was nice, but the hallway felt old/dingy.

The mattresses both had egg crate foam and one of the 2 beds you would still fall in the dip in the mattress. The mattress pad had dirt/ stain on the side and carpets in the hall were dirty and stained. Our room did not have any soap shampoo or lotion had to ask for soap so I could wash my hands and they did not have enough towels and was told they were in the dryer. They did not keep up with the breakfast. It was a joke. One lady asked for more food and the lady working the desk was extremely rude talking about how it’s not her fault people take more than their share. If you ask me you offer breakfast for your patrons, you should have enough food for the amount of people staying regardless of how much they eat. The workers were also smoking right near the front door and was really gross having to walk through that smoke. Also disappointed that hot tub not in working order.
