Great view but not deluxe!

Excellent position and a stunning view from patio style window and balcony across the sea. Bathroom was clean with an excellent shower. Nice towels and a supply of toiletries was appreciated. Tea and coffee making facilities plus biscuits were good.

Firstly it must be said that the hotel has recently changed hands and is being refurbished, signage is poor and I struggled to actually find the hotel. My room was quite modernly decorated but spoilt by bedside tables covered with some sort of silver sparkle and a couple of drawers that didn't open. A strange table which could have been replaced by a nice desk suggested a lack of attention to detail and a somewhat haphazard quality of furnishing. No literature in the room, no daily servicing, and no hair dryer. There was no parking (as advertised) and the stairs were quite steep . Guest will need a bit of patience.

Failed to be told there was a nightclub in basement and didn't close till 4am so no sleep and had to vacate room by 10am, tea making facilities yes there was tea coffee sugar and milk and even biscuits but NO KETTLE to actually make a drink carpet had paint all over it, just been freshly painted so paint over curtains, carpet and even tv wires and fan in room didn't work
