Ok property, but not a 9.1 experience

Close to the beach (5 min walk or less). Dedicated parking space provided. Elevator. Cold air-conditioning. Cold freezer and refrigerator. Kitchen with stove (although we didn't use it) Laundry machine with soap (no separate dryer). Balcony that accessed both bedroom and main room. Hot water and spacious shower. Recycling bins are clearly labeled in the kitchen.

Extra 95€ cleaning fee on top of the per-day rate (These things should be included in the price of the rental for better transparency). The hidden 50€ fee for check-in after 1800 (we ended up arriving before 1800 and did not have to pay the extra 50€ fee). The property is managed by a management company off-site and sub-contract to local people to attend to the needs of the property. Cleaning is through a sub-contract and towels and linens through a service. The kitchen and bathroom were not thoroughly cleaned in the cracks. The matrasses had long black hairs on the pads (neither I or my guest have black hair), and when laying on my stomach, I could faintly smell urine from either the sheets or the matrass below. For check-in, we were told to contact our check-in women at a WhatsApp#, but she didn't respond. After contacting the management company, she contacted me and gave me a 20 estimated arrival but did not arrive until over 45 min later. (Note: We were not given a 50€ discount for having to wait after 1800 😉). Only 1 key is provided, so we needed to coordinate our plans to ensure being able to lock the apartment and access the building when we were not both together. There is no coffee machine and only an electric tea kettle. The wifi is OK but is only 4GLTE mobile wifi router, so it was not any faster than my 5G phone connection. The air-conditioning is really cold, which is great, except the one in the bedroom blasts right over the bed, and there is no way to deflect the direct air while sleeping. We chose to leave it off and rely only on the mainroom unit to keep the apartment cool at night. The balcony is nice, but the view looks at an un-kept side lot and a tall building under renovation blocking all but 2 slivers of view of the sea. The parking space is about as wide as a 1959 Mini Cooper and not large enough for modern cars. Luckily, the Landrover next to me left some room, and no one ever parked on the other side of me.
