Gorgeous property in an out-of-the-way place but close to town for shops and restaurants. Tuckers, about 15 minutes away, had an amazing breakfast. Manchester (45 minutes) and the Maine Coast, Kittery and York, Maine (90 minutes). Beautiful views from up on the hill. Lovely log cabin home. Two queen bedrooms on the first floor that share a bathroom. Two bedrooms on the second floor, one with a queen and the other with a twin bed and bunks that share the second floor bath. The second floor also had a nice loft with space to play games and read. The basement was finished and included a large sectional couch, television, games and foosball. The power went out just as we were all going to bed one night but the generator came on quickly until the power was restored about two hours later. The main floor is open kitchen, dining, and living room with sliders to the deck. We had those doors open for a nice breeze while we played cards. The kitchen is gorgeous and extremely well-equipped for anything you may want to cook up. Overall a great stay.

We loved the house and location. It is out of the way and we loved that. I don’t recall if the listing mentioned this but the property has a generator which was handy because there was a power outage but we didn’t suffer at all!

Incredibly quiet & comfortable! We really enjoyed our stay here! Beautiful views during the day... and amazing stars at night. We were in town for work, and so thankful to have found this property. It was perfect to come back to each night to cook dinners & relax.

It was a lovely place to relax with friends. There are a few good restaurants in the area, and plenty of hiking trails with Wadleigh State Park nearby. Overall it was quite a good experience.

The wooden interior is so heart warming! The kitchen is gorgeous. The whole house is very well kept and comfortable. The outdoors are just what you'd expect for NH: peaceful and beautiful! Thank you for letting us stay at your home!
