About this house rental
Relax and recharge at Good Times on the Cape a newly built luxury home in the historic district of Cape Charles, a short walk or golf cart ride away to the beach, park, shops, and restaurants.
This two-story home is entirely private. The front porch is outfitted with rocking chairs, an important part of the laid-back Cape Charles lifestyle and perfect for morning coffee. The backyard has a patio perfectly outfitted with a table and chairs designed for dining alfresco and looking up at the stars. There is also an outside shower for rinsing off after a day in the sand or fishing at the pier!
Designed with extended families and friends who travel together in mind - this home has TWO master bedrooms with en-suite baths!
The high-speed wifi and TV are ready with your favorite apps if you need to check email or unwind with a movie.
The space
We can comfortably host 10 guests with 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms.
Downstairs: When you walk into this home you immediately get drawn in by the warm spacious and welcoming design. The first floor has an open-concept living room, dining, and kitchen. The kitchen has stunning quartz countertops, brand-new stainless steel GE appliances and a large island. It has everything you need for cooking up your favorite dishes and entertaining. It is fully stocked with utensils, pots/pans, dishes, & glasses. You'll also find a bar area complete with stemware, highball glasses, wine opener, etc.and a coffee/tea bar that can accommodate a drip-style coffee or K-cups.
There is a large Master bedroom with a Queen size bed and ensuite bath. There is also a mudroom with a washer and dryer - the perfect place to hang the sandy towels from a day at the beach. There is also a half bath on this level.
Upstairs:
When you walk up the stairs there is a great bonus space perfect for kids to hang out, play games, read a book or relax from a day at the beach. There is a Master bedroom with a king bed and ensuite. There are two additional bedrooms one with a queen bed and the other has a stand-alone full-sized bed and a bunk bed, that comfortably sleeps 4.
Guest access
You will have access to the entire house during the duration of your stay with the exception of owners' closets, which will be locked.
You will be emailed a keypad code and instructions for self-check-in within 24 hours of arrival.
Check-in is 4 PM and Check out is 10 AM.
There is plenty of street parking available and an outside plug to charge your golf cart if you rent one.

This was the best rental we’ve ever stayed in. I was nervous bc there weren’t many reviews but so glad we booked this space. The upstairs was great for a family. Spacious rooms. Great kitchen. Everything was SO clean. Beach chairs and equipment was so great and helpful. Downstairs master is just a tad small but still worked great- would be better for one person (we had two in there). 3 minute golf cart ride to the beach and towel. House is pretty kid proof (had a crawling baby and toddler). Alexis was super responsive to all questions and needs. Towels and sheets were soft and beds were very comfortable. Cant say enough positive things. Love this town, the food, the beach. Very safe and friendly area.

We had an amazing time at Good Times on the Cape! The house was clean, well stocked with everything you need to be comfortable. Perfect for our family with young kids. The Hosts were more than accommodating and checked in to be sure we had everything we needed. We will be back!

We stayed two nights for a wedding. The house was beautifully with very comfortable beds, spacious rooms, gorgeous kitchen and is brand new. Easy to relax here! Alexis was very pleasant and responsive with communications before, during and after the stay. Highly recommend booking this home when in the cute town of Cape Charles.

We had an amazing anniversary getaway in Cape Charles. The house is in a fantastic location, easy to walk or golf cart to the Central Park, beach, and all the restaurants and shops. The house itself is clean, beautifully equipped with all the amenities, and fast wifi. We will absolutely be back with our kids and family. Very accomodating hosts with great communication. Absolutely recommend!!

Alexis was super responsive and informative. The house was spotless and looked brand new. My favorite place wa the front porch that was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful weather. Walkable to the main shopping area and the beach!

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at Good Times at the Cape. The house was well appointed, comfortable, and conveniently located to everything CC has to offer. The plug for our golf cart rental was easy to find, with a long enough extension to reach the street (believe it or not this has been an issue for us in previous rentals.) We had all the extras we needed for our group, including plenty of towels, additional beach chairs and umbrella. The owners have done a wonderful job in ensuring a no worry vacation experience, providing more than most Cape Charles vacation rentals. This NEW home is a total gem, and we plan to return on future visits.
