To the front of the property is a private wooded area and there is ample off-street private parking for cars. Well behaved dogs are welcome by prior agreement, please ask for details.

The beach is so close that you can hear the ocean when the doors are open, it extends over 8 kilometres and gets gently busier as you walk along it towards the local town centre, where you will find a large number of award-winning restaurants, simple fast food stalls, bars, ice cream vendors and shops of all types.

Access to the beach is via the gate at the front of the property - less than a 2-minute stroll! Please note that there is no direct access to the beach from the rear of the property as French rules do not allow walking on the sand dunes. There is an improved and serene patio area at the rear of the property with amazing sea views.

Local shops / super markets / bars / banks / restaurants and tourist facilities are all only 10 minutes easy walk / 2 minutes drive and there is a large Super-U Hypermarket about 5 minutes drive away.

La Griere is recognised as the premium region of La Tranche.

The property has been recently completely refurbished with a stunning new Ikea kitchen with dishwasher / oven / hob / microwave / cappucino machine / fridge / freezer (with integrated automatic ice maker) and lots lots more.
