Our stay at this property was unfortunately a very disappointing and unsettling experience. Upon arrival, we were instructed to retrieve the key from the main door entrance. However, when we opened the door, two enormous South African Boerboel dogs came out, barking aggressively. These are known to be attack dogs, and the situation felt extremely dangerous. The host even admitted that we could have been seriously harmed, which was deeply disturbing and far from the kind of welcome anyone should expect. The property itself was another letdown. It was dirty upon entry, with hair and debris on the floor, and there was an unpleasant odor seemingly from the dogs. The bathroom was also dirty, which was very off-putting. We had seen similar complaints in other reviews before our arrival, so we had asked the host about it. He assured us that those reviews were from scammers and people looking for a free stay, claiming that everything was in good condition. Unfortunately, that was not the case, and it was clear that the issues mentioned in the reviews were very real. The beds were creaky and uncomfortable, adding to the overall discomfort of the stay. We ended up cleaning the apartment ourselves just to feel somewhat clean and settled, which is something guests should never have to do. Overall, this stay did not meet our expectations and was far from the standard of cleanliness and safety that we would expect from a property. I would not recommend this place.

Here is the translation: For the following reasons, I will never use this hotel again and request a refund for the unused portion through Expedia. 1. Even though we were in contact until the day before, the designated location was locked, and we couldn’t get inside. 2. When the previous user lost the key, the owner didn’t prepare a new one promptly. Instead, we were told to contact him each time to open and close the door according to our schedule. 3. The place was not very clean. It seemed like neither of the beds had their sheets washed, and there was trash and hair on them. I had to wash them myself at midnight before using them. 4. The previous user’s drinking water and ice cream were left in the refrigerator. 5. The shower drain was clogged, causing it to overflow. I had to clean it myself before use. 6. What I hated the most was that there were over 100 flies in the room the moment I entered. Even though there was a kitchen, it was painful not only to cook for ourselves but also to eat and stay there. We didn’t want to come back after sightseeing, so we used the room for only two nights out of the five-day reservation and had to pay extra to move to another hotel. On the first day, my friend strongly protested about the key, so it was replaced with a new one at midnight, and the owner bought me flypaper for the flies. However, the flies couldn’t be removed, and their number increased on the following days! Since we couldn’t cook, eat, or relax ourselves, we sh

Positives: Large open kitchen space. Near small kids playground and large field to play in. Parking spot available. Less positives: Dirty university residence room vibes. We were a family of 4. There were 2 towels, 3 very uncomfortable dining room chairs, no TV, no couch or elsewhere to sit... not 4 sets of cuttlery, no dish rack or towel. Hardly anything to cook with, but no spatula or cooking utencils. Washer, but no dryer. Nowhere to put your washroom stuff while showering. Gross food bag/compost bag?under kitchen sink, nothing available to clean ourselves (broom, dustpan...) 2 dirty towels, we used our own. Private entrance with no curtain for privacy. Path to front door full of trip hazards and uneven. 2h one way to get downtown Toronto with public transit FYI. I do not recommend for 4, maybe 2 grown ups who are ready to clean with their products, only want a bed to sleep in and have family close by.

First, Akash, our host is trying. He's a very nice young man, with a day job so requests are answered at the end of the day. The place has potential but needs work. Now for the details. As it says, comfortable - maybe, homely - definitely. What's there, space; what's missing... well let's see (BTW we communicated all of this to Akash) + temperature control, no thermostat. We had to text to get temp changed. + no coffee mugs, no cutting board, no knives, no cooking utensils - well there's a fork, a laddle and a pasta thingy, no bake ware, no oven mitts, no dish rack or dish towels, no hand towels, no facecloths. + no toaster/toaster oven + no ice maker or ice cube trays + two beds, one set of sheets. + a bed side table would be nice + no broom, dustpan - we had to request one. + the electric panel is in the apartment, so they have to come in to reset the breaker. + no rugs, no window treatment + parking was a struggle + no towel bars or hooks in the bathroom + no sitting area, no TV + and their dogs (upstairs) run and bark We purchased extra towels and dish towels for ourselves. So, no it was not great. We were hoping to cook a few meals, I mean why rent an apartment right, but we had to eat out every night. And it rained every day so the little gravel path to the entrance at the back of the house was muddy - no broom, remember. It was to say the least, disappointing. I looked and couldn't find something convenient on short notice. Travelers, be warned.
