About this house rental

Relax with the whole family at this spacious yet cosy property. Garden Cottage is a tastefully finished Cotswold stone home with a generous garden, country views, modern amenities and ample off-street parking. Garden Cottage benefits from a spacious kitchen with modern built-in appliances and two bright and welcoming reception rooms with views over the garden and fields beyond. The two largest bedrooms have king size beds and en suites while a third has a comfy double and the remaining two bedrooms would be ideal for children and are served by a further bathroom. The cottage has a large garden with pergola and outdoor seating area- perfect for alfresco dining during the spring and summer months. Alvescot is a pretty village on the edge of the Cotswolds. It benefits from a local pub and a lovely children’s play area as well as picturesque walks to nearby villages. It is a short drive from the pretty village of Bampton which has a butcher, cafe, pub and Co op supermarket. The nearby Ye Olde Swan pub serves excellent pizzas from its wood-fired oven to both eat in and take-away. Other great gastro pubs a short drive away include The Five Alls at Filkins, The Double Red Duke at Clanfield and The Bell at Langford. Nearby Carterton is a useful hub, with a Morrisons, Aldi and Asda as well as a number of cafes, beauticians and hair salons and a large leisure centre with pool, soft play and trampoline park. The outdoor pool at Filkins is also worth a visit on warm days. You’re also a short drive from the historic market town of Burford with its chic boutiques and delicious delis and a 10-15 minute drive from The Cotswold Wildlife Park and Crocodiles of the World attractions.
