Decent.

This property is as pictured and the host was responsive and accommodating.

As another review explained, this is a working home where the family vacates to rent out periodically. A good example of the accommodations would be that we needed four towels. Two were the family’s towels with their embroidered names and two others were beach towels. In good conscience to other travellers, I think a rating of “decent” is fair. This is not a cheap rental, and so we would choose elsewhere in the future. Although this is not far from a small town, this is not a walkable apartment and there was a good amount of industry around. This was our second trip to Iceland.

Nice comfy apartment.

The owner met us at the apartment and showed us around. Provided us the keys, wifi password, and where to drop the keys after. I guess they rent their primary apartment, so tons of spices and cooking items. There is a store right down the street and some local restaurants within 5 minutes of driving.

I believe the owner smokes, so there was a hint of smoke in the apartment. Wasn't too bad, but you could tell.

Tolle, ruhige, bequeme Wohnung zwischen Flughafen und Reykjavik

Unser Gastgeber war sehr flexibel beim Check-in, wir konnten die Wohnung 1 Stunde früher beziehen, er war da und es hat alles super funktioniert. Er antwortet superschnell, lebt normalerweise selber in der Wohnung. Parkplatz vor dem Haus. Die Wohnung ist sehr ruhig, hat einen schönen Balkon, genug Platz für 4 Personen, alles freundlich, sauber und geschmackvoll. Die Lage ist gut für die letzte Nacht vor einem Abflug, man ist auch schnell draussen aus dem Ballungsgebiet um Reykjavik - nächstes Geothermalfeld und Aurora Camp nur wenige km entfernt.

Lage mitten in einem großen Neubaugebiet. Sonst gibt es nichts, was uns nicht gefallen hätte.
