Escape from it all at Brookhaven Resort on the beautiful sapphire-blue Big Glen Lake! One of five cottages with shared access to 150' of water frontage, tennis court, basketball court, & row boats. Gather around the shared fire pit for s'mores and sunsets overlooking Alligator Hill in the Sleeping Bear Dunes area. 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. 1 level, faces West, at the end of a quiet street. Sleeps 5-6.
This cabin has 1 Queen, 2 twins, and a sofa bed. It has a full kitchen (no dishwasher), a charcoal grill, and a picnic table. There is WIFI. There is no TV, no phone, and no worries at this peaceful location, only minutes from the village of Glen Arbor. Pickleball and volleyball are available.
Quick drives to the Sleeping Bear Dunes, shopping, dining, kayaking, hiking, and more. Big Glen Lake is great for kids. Crystal clean water and no severe drop-offs. Boating, fishing, and swimming--enjoy them all!

Enjoyed Brookhaven 4, loved sitting out on the dock and staying warm by the fire pit. Cabin had great pots and pans and a nice size kitchen. Lots of hot water for showers.

Glen Lake was crystal clear and we so enjoyed having paddleboards, kayaks and rowboats available, along with the long dock and fun floating dock! We swam, scuba dived, boated and watched the amazing sunsets every night. We also enjoyed day visits to nearby Sleeping Bear Dunes and Glen Arbor town. The cottege was cozy and had all that we needed. No AC but we had great weather and fans were in each room. WE WANT TO GO BACK NEXT YEAR!

The property is beautiful. They have basketball, pickleball, tennis, badminton and volleyball. They have 2 lakes Glen and Brooks lake. They have a dock and 8 boats with life jackets. They have a fire pit. There are 5 cabins and you share everything between eachother. The cabin was roomy and had fans. The kitchen has dishes, silverware, cups, spatula, coffee pot and microwave. A charcoal grill and picnic table at each cabin with extra chairs. Close to Glen Arbor and lake Michigan. Perfect for families with all of the extras to enjoy.

Took the kids to Sleeping Bear Dunes and they loved staying in our cozy cottage. The games were great, the layout was perfect for our needs, and the lake view was gorgeous. The new electric heating unit was a bit tricky to keep the back bedrooms warm but we figured fall temps so dressed warm. Had a great time!

We loved our weekend getaway on Glen Lake! It felt like we stepped back in time at this resort of small cottages. The inside was charming and very clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed. The location was close to towns, beaches, and hiking. We loved the view over Glen Lake...gorgeous! The rental company was great to work with and the price was right!

This is our second year at Brookhaven cottages on Glen Lake. The location is excellent and price can't be beat for the area in peak season. The cottages are basic, but that's all we need. Our only complaint this year was the noise from a large cottage on Brooks Pond, behind the cottage. Booming party music until the wee hours of the morning... 3 nights in a row. If you're looking for peach and quiet, you'll take a risk by renting so close to other renters. Otherwise, a great stay!

Was a bit disappointing, the cabin was OK however a bit pricey for the lack of updates. We were moved to a different cabin last minute as the owner of the cabins were in town and probably took the better cabins along with her adult children. I understand it is their property however we are paying to stay there and assumed we would get the better place. The beds, were super comfy and was very pleased with the cleanliness. We did not have a coffee maker in our cabin but the owner Lisa was very nice and gave us here's. Aside from the fact that the owners were all over the property (outside) during our stay we were happy with the days at the beautiful lake. Hope to return.

reservationist told us we would be able to use a mooring at the property for our boat, which is one of the main reasons we booked at this location. HUGE dissapointment to our entire family when we arrived and were told by the owner that we could not, and when we saw the location of the mooring we knew why we could not (way too shallow. PLEASE do not advertise to your customers that there is a usuable mooring! The whole point of this trip was for father & daughter to be able to wake up early and have use of our boat ON SITE. On a positive note we did enjoy the company and exceptional hospitality of the property owner, Kip. Cleaning service may want to clean garbage cans and stove/oven, and microwave inbetween renters, old stuck on food and grease is very displeasing.

We are sorry you had cleaning issues. We offer housekeeping sevices when there are issues but need to be contacted about such when you are here so we can attend to. Cottage 4 was updated this year with new floors, kitchen and furniture so we are surprised that you found the accommodations to be of poor condition.
In the future if you choose to stay with us again we would like to offer a $50.00 coupon that is good up to 1 year from this dates off of a future stay. Please refer to this email when making reservations. Use good for one time

It is a great place to gather with family and friends, hike, bike, swim, boat, grill out and enjoy a campfire under a beautiful blanket of stars. This is the simple life. First, our daughter, Sarah Snyder, reserved Brookhaven #4 #5, #5 for her family and #4 for us. My name is Richard Colony. We have rented one or two cottages at Brookhaven and the main house(once) at least 8 times over the course of the last 30 years. We rented from the Parker Thomas' when they were alive in the late '70s and '80s when our family was growing up and 4 times since 2000. The biggest complaint about this visit was the condescending manner we were treated when we visited your office in Glen Arbor when we inquired about another cottage. I won't repeat the whole contact but would be happy to relate it if you are interested. The second involves the condition of the two row boats for use by guests. Last year the boats were not in great shape, mainly ore lock problems. This year one of the boats had a hole in the bottom of the boat and the other had ore locks that were about to fall off. I am not sure who is responsible for the condition of the boats, the property managers or the owner. Because the owner was in the main house and in a very cordial conversation with him I mentioned the problems with the boats. He was completely unaware of them. He took care of the ore locks and replaced a seat board right away, which impressed me. Our daugher and her family in #5 found the condition of the blankers and shower to be deplorable. I will let her give you the details if she wants. Let the housekeeping be summed up as less than great, even for a lake cottage. Richard Colony
