This cozy lakefront home is ideal for a quiet, relaxing getaway, a small family vacation, or a weekend with friends. The perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee on the deck before heading out to the lake for the day or seeing several nearby attractions, including Mammoth Cave, the National Corvette Museum, Bourbon Trail, Nolin State Park, and more. Swimming, boating, fishing, paddle boarding, canoeing, and kayaking are perfect activities here.

This 2 bedroom, 2 bath fully renovated mobile home has all of the amenities of a home to help you enjoy a relaxing vacation. It sleeps up to 6 adults, with a pull-out sofa bed in the living room to provide extra sleeping space. You can enjoy amenities such as a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, Wifi, and smart TV. The kitchen is well stocked with a with cookware, utensils, dishes, coffee maker, ice maker, and more.

This lake home is 5 miles from Nolin Lake State Park and beach and hiking trails, 10 min from Blue Holler mud and 4-wheeler trails, 30 min from Mammoth Cave, and 30 min from Beech Bend amusement park. The neighborhood has a community boat ramp about 1/2 mile away where you can launch and recover your boat easily and a couple of marinas on the lake.

This is the perfect place to enjoy a quiet getaway without the busyness of the city! In case you forget something, there are several local mini markets (Webb’s and Sailings) close by and a Dollar General Market about 10 minutes (5 miles) away. One of the local Amish stores has amazing donuts on Saturday mornings and a Walmart is just 30 minutes away in Leitchfield.

Please be advised the US Corps of Engineers own Nolin Lake and is used for flood control. Lake access is best during the summer as the Corps lowers the lake (25 to 30 feet) starting late October. Due to flood control aspects of the lake, the walk up and down to the water is steep, and some guests might find it difficult. Winter pool is 25-30 feet below summer pool. Which makes the lake inaccessible during winter months. During rainy seasons the lake has been known to go 25 ft above summer pool. Also making the lake hard to access. We try very hard to keep the access to the lake available but sometimes the levels change drastically and are hard to keep up. We do the best we can. The water levels can be checked at the Nolin River website.

The property is fantastic. It is so cute and cozy. Being right on the lake was a bonus as we spent hours just sitting on the deck listening to the birds and relaxing. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything needed - it was just like being at home. The neighborhood is quiet and the few people we met were nice. We really appreciated the gates on the deck so we could let our dogs roam freely as we relaxed.

Overall, the trip was great. We had an absolute blast and the house was perfect. It was quiet, easy to get to, and had a great view. I would definitely want to stay here again.

Clean, spacious and well maintained double wide trailer home that is on a hillside near Nolin Lake. Roughly 7 flights of stairs to get to the lake (I think I counted 92 steps), and the kayaks (owners charge to rent) were located at the home instead of the dock. Same with the life vests and other assorted floatables.

Comfortable trailer by the lake and 45 minutes to Mammouth Cave. The unit is very clean and comfortable. The area is beautiful. Hosts were very responsive. I do think it is quite pricey for the area and being a trailer.

Everything was seamless and easy as our amazing hosts have thought of everything. To the easy check in process, amenities, extra blankets, modern decor and INCREDIBLE communication. The host makes you feel like family. I would highly recommend this place.

This place is better than described. It’s cozy and has anything you need for a getaway besides shower supplies. Close to the Mammoth Cave National Park: take the ferry route, is just 20 minutes. We had the chance to see the fireflies just from the deck. It’s lake access, and also this place has copious water gears, including kayaks. Corlynn and Joe are wonderful people, very helpful.

Western Kentucky has old memories for our family and being able to stay at this incredibly well furnished cozy home allowed much magic to unfold. Everything was so comfortable, and the kitchen was a dream. Basics already stocked, and the ice maker was a wonderful surprise! My daughter slept on the dock to watch the stars at night, and we all deeply enjoyed the spot of forested earth that the property occupies.

This was a lovely getaway on a lake! It was welcoming and clean - a home away from home. Would highly recommend if you want to be in the Mammoth Cave area. The hosts were very attentive but totally unobtrusive. Would rate this a 5 out of 5!

We loved our time at the Raleigh Retreat. It was quiet and peaceful and perfect! Our Australian friends were enamored with the countryside of KY ... including the bald eagle that perched right in front of them off of the back porch! Their encounters with the local residents and business owners were all helpful, welcoming, warm ... simply charming. They will have lots of wonderful 'country' experiences to share with their friends upon their return to AUS ... which is one of their goals for this visit to the USA. We will certainly keep this place in mind next time we need a restful weekend or have visitors from other countries. It was a delightful weekend.

We were delighted with our stay in Mammoth Cave. After a busy day of cave experiences, it was delightful to come back to a beautiful, warm, relaxing environment. The home is exactly as described. Extremely comfortable, very clean, and very well appointed. The communication with our hosts, Corlynn and Joe was exceptional. We are looking forward to another stay in this wonderful home.

Beautiful view in quiet neighborhood. Pros: -well equipped kitchen -well decorated -great tasting water -easy check in -great communication with owner Cons: -strong perfume smell, especially in living room -neighborhood is a little run down -pillows could stand to be replaced, quite flat -no shampoo, conditioner, or body wash supplied -only supplied two dishwasher tablets - had to hand wash my last day of dishes -AC on loud side

Overall our stay was great. Only one thing to know is that water levels are low in the spring and my son couldn’t fish off the dock as he had hoped but that was no fault of owners. We had a great stay. House had everything we needed.

We loved the Raleigh Retreat - it was a perfect place for us and our dog! Comfortable living room and bedrooms and a well stocked kitchen - this place has everything you need to have a great time at the lake. We spent time in Mammoth Caves and Nolin State park and the house was perfect to come back to every day. We'll definitely would recommend this property and hope to come back in the summer when hanging outside and water sports are in full swing. The hosts were so friendly and we enjoyed talking with them. If we had any needs they were on it. Thank you!

Talk about a home away from home experience! Our stay was so relaxing and perfectly located. The owners were fabulous (and so friendly) and communicated wonderfully.We had zero questions upon our arrival and our departure. We visited Mammoth Cave, but there was so much more we could have done in the area. It was a great experience.

Wonderfully stocked kitchen, very clean, awesome fire pit, wonderful porch overlooking backyard and lake, great dock for swimming and fishing. Comfortable furniture and beds. Joe and Corlynn have the perfect spot on the Nolin lakeshore. We relaxed, swam, visited the caves, enjoyed their yard and firepit. They made us feel very welcome from the first communication at booking through to departure. The place was spotless and organized. This is a cabin with everything you could need and more. We highly recommend!

This property was fantastic! Very clean, excellent furnishings, better than we expected! SO much to do nearby - we kayaked, zip lined, toured Mammoth cave, and had a ball swimming in the lake off our own private dock! Perfect getaway for the four of us; myself, my wife and 2 teenage girls. (cabin could hold 6 or 7 comfortably too!) Corlynn and Joe were amazing hosts! Thank you so much!

Clean and comfortable house right on Lake Nolan. Everything we needed to cook, spend time as a family unplugged, visit the lake, or a short drive to Mammoth Cave was easy. Owners have clearly put time and love into this property. Would 100% recommend.
