The intersection before this cabin stated dangerous intersection! This cozy mountain home was not as stated. It is built probably 15 ft from a very high traffic road with cars going by at 40mph. Construction vehicles with heavy equipment , trucks hauling boats, motorcycles, cars with loud music all barreling by day and night. The worst was the car lights nearing the “dangerous intersection “ lit up the bedroom window. The advertisement for this mountain cabin implied that it was quiet and secluded but it is very noisy and about 30 minutes from town. We could have stayed in town close to restaurants and shopping and relatives for the amount we paid for this place. It stated 128.00per night and we stayed 2 nights with our total bill coming to 451.00. Also, after you book it states lake access prohibited. We asked why and the gentleman that answered the phone lived elsewhere and was going to find out why and we never got a call back. Also, they want to start the dishwasher, start the laundry and take out the trash. You’d think that over 200.00 in fees would pay for a maid.

My husband and I had a fantastic time at this cute little cabin. It’s the perfect space to relax, and all of the cute details make it fun and cozy. It’s also very close to lots of activities, the lake is within like a five minute or less drive. We went hiking and mountain biking at Hobbs. It was super quick to get there, about 10 minutes. Being so close to downtown Rogers, you can also head over there for a bite to eat, or you can cook at the cabin, as it has everything you need.

The property is very cute and the location is excellent. However, the cabin smells like cigarette smoke. It was not advertised s as being a smoker friendly place and with an infant it causes me great concern. We only stayed 2 nights and we will have to re-wash all of our clothes because the smoke smell.

The inside of the house is nice, clean, and neat. Cozy back porch area. The loft area would not be comfortable for a tall person, as the bed is close to the sloped ceiling. I didn’t mind, but there is noTV in the house. So, bring your own device if you must have TV. The front of the house is literally the roof. I arrived at night and drove past the house because it is built into the side of the mountain. Only door in/out is the back patio door. Could have better lighting being that you have to walk down stairs on the side of the house to get to the back door.
