Gorgeous property and experience at The Snug! Quick, friendly communication with Simone the owner.

The Snug was such a gorgeous stay! All of the eco, cosy elements were so well considered for a cosy, relaxing weekend away. The homemade brownies on arrival were a delicious touch!

Weekend retreat

It was very comfortable and everything was of a high standard with thoughtful touches. The best brownies were really excellent and the kitchen was provided with milk, tea and coffee.

The parking is a bit tricky especially on a very wet autumn weekend. It would be good to explain that you need to reverse out rather than try to turn beforehand.

Superb little cottage

Superbly equipped and immaculate. Breakfast that was preordered was outstanding.

The sofa was a touch snug. 2 individual comfy chairs may have been better.

Very comfortable, stylish and high quality place to stay. Charming.

An extraordinary place to stay, so thoughtfully equipped and beautifully decorated. I love the style and everything was of the highest quality - beds, duvets, towels, crockery. It was very cosy in cold weather, lovely powerful shower, we used the sofa bed and it was very comfortable - not a compromise from a proper bed. The perfect stay.

Nothing. We loved everything. We found the instructions to reach the place v easy to follow.

A little haven of loveliness

Beautiful breakfasts with delicious home made produce, fresh fruit and apple juice. Bed very comfortable. Well thought out decor and provision of facilities. The owner of accommodation genuinely concerned that we were comfortable. Environmentally friendly ecological cleaning products.

What a lovely gem!

Everything was perfect and the cottage feel is amazing. Loved the attention to details in decor and the little touches with fine toiletries. The kitchen is well stocked with pans and utensils for two. Absolutely amazing! Will be back soon when visiting son at his university. Free parking at the cottage is definitely a bonus when visiting Brighton. You can easily catch a bus from outside the cottage and save yourself the trouble of expensive parking in the city!!!

Signage to find the place was a bit hidden (when dark!)! And it is difficult to find on Google maps.

Ongelofelijke mooie B&B , maar een veel te smal bed

Hier werd geen ontbijt aangeboden

De bedden in de B&Bs in Engeland zijn merendeels te smal, zo'n 140cm breed.

The coziness of the property was amazing. I knew what we were expecting but when we stepped into the door, it blew way past our expectations! The place was stocked with good equipment should you need to cook your own meals and drinks. The host was so lovely when we met them on our last day 😊! We truly had the best time.

We didn't have any dislikes from the property! What some people may dislike is dealing with some crawlers (spiders and isopods); but that is to be expected at a farmhouse - we didn't mind them at all :-).
