About this house rental

We welcome you to enjoy time away in this very secluded spot on Lewis Smith Lake with no busy boatways or noises as you are tucked into this tiny slough. The home is conveniently located between Smith Lake and Trident Marinas. You can dock your or a rental watercraft during the high water season(and sometimes in the off season as well) directly to the home's swim pier. You will be a quick, 20minute boat ride to goat island or views of the infamous “Castle” for enjoyable sight seeing on the lake.
You will enjoy beautiful views with only about 50 steps to the water. You can enjoy a float or kayak on the lake, but please bring your own life jackets! Read a book in a rocking chair, or take a nap in the hammock. We hope your kids will enjoy exploring the waterfall, playing games, and catching fireflies. Make sure to pack your smore supplies for the fire ring, then star gaze as the fire burns low.
We invite you to relax and enjoy time with family and/or friends in a slower paced environment. There are plenty of ways to enjoy quality time with your loved ones here. The accommodations were as described and in a great location. The owner answered our questions timely and was very helpful. I would say the deck and patio need attention to remove spider webs, but other than that everything was ready for our stay. The beds were very comfy, but one bedroom requires access to other bedrooms for bathroom access which you cannot tell from the pictures. This wasn’t an issue for us though as all who stayed were family members. We watched fireworks from the water on our boat and made great special memories!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ DEFINITELY 5 stars from us! The location was perfect, and house was a perfect fit for all of us. Beautiful view of the lake. The beds…. The beds are soooo comfy! Even the kids were saying how they slept better than they have in a while. We will definitely be planning another trip back to stay here again. The owner is very responsive and answers promptly.

We enjoyed our stay. Kitchen had everything needed for meals. Plenty of beds and good room in living area. Nice decks with a beautiful view.

We really enjoyed our Fall Break stay here! There were so many beds and bathrooms and an excellent kitchen, as well as a fantastic laundry room with washer & dryer. The decor was super cute Farmhouse style and the whole place was neat as can be. Relaxing on the screened-in porch was amazing after an afternoon of kayaking on the lake and exploring the little cove we were in. At night we had a nice campfire in the fire pit where the kids roasted marshmallows and ate s'mores! There were tons of little extras thrown in like nice fluffy towels, shampoo, conditioner and bodywash in all the showers, laundry and dishwasher soap-pods provided, and even a full icemaker and coffee pods in the kitchen with the coffee maker. There were lots of card and board games to play as well as outdoor ladderball, and we were able to log into Netflix & Amazon Prime to watch movies at night. The owners are so nice and there was great communication with them. The views were amazing and our family had such a nice relaxing time here! Will definitely stay again!

Some friends of mine wanted to coordinate a stay on smith lake, and we stumbled upon this ABSOLUTE GEM of a property :D I booked the property asked questions and was surprised with how responsive the property person was! They answered all of my dumb questions (I am one of those people)... And once we got to the property it was even better than the pictures implied! The little cabin was adorable and clean, the linens were soft, the toilet paper was stocked. Everything was just as it aught to have been. THEN THE LAKE, oh my was it tranquil, peaceful, serene... you name it and it was apt for the water. We swam off the dock, paddle boarded, kayaked, light a fire in the fire pit, night swam, played some banjo (i came from alabama, how could I not have a banjo on my knee?) and the whole time it was just as quite as could be. Nothing but us, the sunshine, the moonshine (like full moon lighting the night, not the home made stuff) and the leaves softly blowing in the wind. 10/10 would recommend. 10/10 would do again. 10/10 perfect trip!
