About this house rental

Langtree Cottage is our family’s happy place and we would like to share it with you! This stunning lakefront home has an excellent location on the southeastern end of Lake Norman. The closest lakefront vacation rental to Davidson and Cornelius you will find. The property provides a quiet retreat for friends and families to gather but is only 25 minutes to downtown Charlotte! We are also located adjacent to the beautiful Venue at Langtree and a perfect place for wedding guests or your wedding party.

Situated on a peaceful street, this cottage looks out onto a beautiful wide cove. Stretching along the lakefront is a broad patio and beach area with firepit that leads to a spacious new dock with a boat slip and a large lounge area. The protected cove is a perfect place for swimming and paddle boarding, but the main water is just two homes up for those venturing further out. The property also includes a sought-after boat launch ramp. Guests can bring their own boats or use the boat slip for a rental boat.

The interior of this cottage is all new! The interior was designed for lake life, with an open plan and lots of windows that let the sunlight pour in and provide spectacular views. The main floor has hardwood throughout and well-appointed kitchen and baths with all new appliances, fixtures, and finishes. The rooms are decorated in a cozy modern style. The cushioned banquet with large corner windows is a favorite place to dine and hang out.

The main upper floor has an expansive kitchen, dining/living area, laundry room and three bedrooms and three baths. The lower floor has an additional kitchen and open living/recreational space, a beautiful lakeview bedroom, a bunk room, large bathroom, and additional laundry.

A spacious, inviting deck beckons you to relax and enjoy the gentle lake breezes, perfect for lounging with a morning coffee or unwinding in the evening.

There is boat storage room, with exterior access off the back yard, which contains, three paddleboards, three kayaks (1 tandem and 2 singles), life preservers, and other lake floats and toys as well as a cornhole set and portable deck chairs for guests to enjoy.

Hammocks are also provided to set up in the trees down by the lake.

The home was immaculate and everything seemed "fresh" and new. More than enough room for the 6 of us. We loved the kayaks and paddleboards-we got plenty of use out of them! We loved everything about it and plan on staying there again!

I booked this stay for me and my girlfriends so we could all get away and have a fun relaxing weekend. The view from the back deck is the best thing to wake up to and the breakfast nook was our favorite spot to swap stories and hangout. This house was so thoughtfully designed and absolutely gorgeous. We all literally didn’t want to leave at the end of the trip- truly a slice of paradise. The host was very quick to respond if we had questions and was so kind to provide a list of activities and places close by for us to enjoy. Thank you for the best girls weekend!!

It was our first time at Lake Norman and certainly won’t be our last! This house is in a great location very close the freeway for easy access. We rented a boat for a couple of the days were able to keep it on tied to the dock at the house. Our kids had a great time swimming in front of the house when we weren’t out on the boat. The house itself is very nicely decorated and has plenty of room for 2 families. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back soon

We were in town for a large family graduation celebration at the end of Langtree Rd. The location of the cottage couldn’t have been more perfect for us for being so close to the festivities. The property is gorgeous. Every update the owners have made are top notch and beautiful. And the home was stocked with everything we needed. Many of our family members said ‘Wow! I could live here!’ We’ll definitely book again!

The house was beautifully done and smelled brand new!! Was amazed at the extras that were provided and the overall feel of the house and property was very homey. We are already planning our trip back so that we can enjoy the lake and the toys provided.

We had a wonderful stay at this house with our 4 and 6 year old. Everything in the house was immaculate. We've never felt so at home in a rental as we did here. The location is great with easy access to restaurants and the other Lake Norman towns. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for a lake getaway!

Our family recently stayed at this newly remodeled Lake Norman home, and it exceeded our expectations. The property was impeccably clean and well stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The owner was incredibly responsive and accommodating, ensuring our experience was top-notch. The highlight was the stunning lake view and the availability of kayaks, perfect for enjoying the beautiful surroundings. It truly was a memorable getaway, and we can't wait to return.

From the moment we arrived we knew we found a slice of heaven. We are a group if 6 friends that travel together, fall and spring. It takes us a bit of time to find a house with all of our requirements, how many bathrooms, how far to the dock or beach? Can the guys fish? Is the kitchen big enough, is it an open floor plan home? You know, trying to get it all perfect. This house met and exceeded the description as well as all of our “must haves”The host was beyond gracious when we inquired about reservations and worked well with us to come to the perfect agreement. Now on to the warm and welcoming home. The entire house has been renovated and the owners knocked it out of the park. Think a Southern Living home but comfortable. We were greeted with just about anything you can think of that you might need or forgot. The kitchen is stocked well and the welcome snacks were perfect to nibble on as we settled in. Everybody raved about their beds and the bathrooms were the extra cherry in top, THE best smelling shampoo, conditioner and body wash were just delightful. The fire-pit on the beach was where we all gathered to unwind and to star gaze and they had wood and fire-starters!!I wish we were brave enough to kayak as there are two to use, maybe in warmer weather. I could go on and on but you just need to go ahead and BOOK THIS PLACE…you will not be sorry

We absolutely loved staying at Langtree Lakeside Cottage! The house is beautiful and it’s on a nice quiet street. It has just been renovated and everything is new and beautifully furnished and decorated! The hosts thought of everything and are so easy to communicate with! All the rooms are open and bright, with lots of windows to see the gorgeous lake views. We got together with family and had a blast using all the kayaks and paddle boards. We also are big game players in our family, so we were happy to see such a great assortment of games! The dock and the huge lakeside patio were so fantastic. We had our dinners on the deck and spent the cooler evenings around the fire on the lakeside beach…can’t get any better than that! Definitely the best rental we have had and we will be back!!
