About this apartment rental
This cozy 60m2 apartment is situated on the second floor of an elegant Eixample building in the most iconic area of Barcelona. The beautiful architectural façade is officially recognized by the City of Barcelona.
An elevator connects the flat directly from the street level (there are also stairs).
It is ideal for up to 5 guests. The main bedroom is cheerful and equipped with a built-in closet, table and double-bed. The second bedroom has a bunk bed and there is a double sofa bed in the living area. The bedrooms are tastefully decorated with linens, Nordic duvets, blankets and pillows. High-chair and crib are also available upon request (free of charge).
The kitchen is fully-equipped with all the conveniences of home: fridge, kettle, coffee machine, toaster, oven and microwave, washing machine, iron and ironing table.
The full bathroom includes a hair dryer, bidet, temperature-controlled faucet and towels.
The living room is adorned with two large glass doors to the balcony.
Fiber optic high-speed Wi-Fi connection.

The apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood, close to Sagrada Familia. It is a superb location for tourists in to enjoy Barcelona’s unique architecture, museums, and restaurants and to enjoy the highlights of the city.
GETTING AROUND
There is a Barcelona Tourist Bus stop just in front of the apartment and the nearest metro is just 1 minute away. The metro is central and easily connects to Plaza Catalunya and Sants Station (which connects to the Barcelona airport).
Just 3 metro stops away or a short ride on the Tourist Bus will take you to other famous Gaudí works such as La Pedrera and the Casa Battló, both of which are located on the exclusive shopping street Passeig de Gracia.

SILENCE: It's a very quiet neighborhood and building, so after 10:00 pm things should be calmed down so we don't disturb the neighbors.
As this is a residential building it is important to respect the neighbors. The locals are going about their daily lives and request a quiet and calm environment.
Please note that there is a mandatory tourist tax to be charged, imposed by the Catalan government of 6,88 euros per person per night (VAT included). Applies to all guests who have turned 17 years of age and above for the first 7 nights. This tax will be collected in EUROS at check-in.
On your arrival we will also ask you to fill in the mandatory register of tourists of the Catalan Police Department, and to sign your agreement to comply with the house rules.

There is a surcharge of 30 euros for check-ins between 21:00 hours and 00:00 hours. Check-ins after 00:00 hours have a surcharge of 50 euros. This amount is due in EUROS at check-in.

This apartment is in a great location with a lot of character and all the amenities you could need. Our kids loved the bunk beds and the washing machine worked wonderfully. We had some struggles getting ahold of the host(s) once we landed in Barcelona (and followed the instructions provided), but we were able to check in with only minor delay. The apartment was clean and functional with good AC. Overall, we would definitely stay again.

Property was exactly as advertised, very well located, clean and had all the expected amenities. Check in was easy and the Metro is one block away. Great cafe, bars and restaurants on all corners. Neighborhood was safe and welcoming. Air conditioning worked very well as did TV and washing machine. Would recommend for families. Thanks for a great stay.

This place worked great for our family of five. The location was fantastic -- Metro stop across the street, 11 minute walk to Familia Sagrada and we walked to Park Guell too. Great food within steps--croissants (authentic, made by a French family, literally neat door), tapas, ermpanadas, sushi, fruit, and more. Hosts were also excellent -- great communication, flexible-- let us do early check in-- and left some nice welcoming touches in the apartment. Love's our stay there and would absolutely stay again. This was a great apartment to come back to after a day of sightseeing. It had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Communication with the host / property manager was excellent. All in all, it made our time in Barcelona perfect!!

Our family enjoyed our stay at this property tremendously. It was perfect for our family of five (3 children between the ages of 6-10 years old). The beds and sleeper sofa were all very comfortable. We had enough storage to put away all of our things for the week that we were there. The bathroom and kitchen were standard for a European city apartment, maybe even on the larger side. The shower was great with hot water and good pressure! Being able to do laundry and line dry it was a huge help for our trip. The AC units were sufficient to keep the apartment cool during the heat wave we had while we were there. We did not use the TV so I can't speak to that but the wifi worked great. The apartment building was generally very quiet.
There is an elevator to the apartment which is helpful, but you can also take the stairs. The location was fantastic. Though it is not in the center of town, it is close to the Sagrada Familia and right on a main walking boulevard with shops and restaurants. There are multiple metro stops very close by (as close as the same block) that take you all over the city in 20 minutes or less. It was everything we were looking for and we were very happy with our stay! We would definitely stay here again!

The host met us at the building. I believe it was Daniel. Very polite, very nice. He sent us numerous recommendations. The location is 10 minutes away from Sagrada Familia. The apartment is clean, furniture is a bit different from listing. The windows are facing inner yard. Spanish people dine late, so we could hear locals till 1 am. Shower water was always slightly cold. Nevertheless the apartment was cozy and warm. It had all the necessary small things to make the stay comfortable. Plenty of shops and restaurants around.

Convenient to a metro stop (1 block away) for all city exploring and within easy walking distance to Sagrada Familia.
Apartment was clean and well appointed though our couch and table in living area were not as nice as shown in pictures. AC and laundry worked very well. Elevator and stairs access to unit was nice.
Communication with Jorge and Daniel was easy and check in was simple with meeting at the front door and being escorted up to the apartment and being shown around.

Superb, convenient and comfortable stay!!
We traveled for the first time -as a family of 4- to Barcelona. Found the description of this condo on Vrbo to be accurate or to even exceed our expectations. Location of building is excellent, safe and convenient for a family, in the Eixample neighborhood. Only a 5-minute walk to La Sagrada Familia, 1 min away from the metro or a 15min bike ride to El Born or Gothic areas or to the beach! Also many great options for dining nearby either around the corner or down a 2-minute walk to a strip of restaurants with outside seating. A small convenience store is at the bottom of building to buy water, fruits, snacks, laundry detergent etc…there is an elevator to take you to the 5th floor where the flat is located.
The inside of the apartment is spotless!! The owners have thought of almost everything to make our stay as a family convenient and comfortable. The apartment is very bright with a balcony and designed as a hallway with 3 rooms to your left: main bedroom with a Full/Queen size bed, bathroom and kitchen as you walk from the entrance door. The other smaller bedroom is located to the right of the living room and had bunk beds, perfect for our 12 and 14-year old boys. Small table outside the kitchen by the living room, comfortable sofas, TV, Netflix, internet. There are 2 AC units for hot days, one in the larger bedroom and the second just outside of the smaller bedroom within the living area. A clean bathroom/shower and a well-equipped kitchen with plates, cups, glasses (including wine glasses), wine opener, dish washing liquid, tea, coffee maker, toaster, large fridge/freezer and washing machine (which we used for 3 loads for our teens!). We line-dried all clothes on the balcony outside and on a rack provided in the kitchen that we placed on the balcony. The sunny hot weather and drying lines made it easier for us given that most Europeans do not use drying machines. All clothes were dry overnight. Communication with the owners was fast and easy. We used WhatsApp to inform them of our arrival at the airport and to meet up at the building for checkin at 2-3pm. Also easy to ask them for recommendations for reserving taxis or going around the city. There is a bike rental place about a 5-minute walk from the apartment. We rented bikes throughout our stay and biked all of Barcelona!! To Sagrada Familia, to the Center, to Picasso museum, and to the beach! Loved it and would definitely stay there again next time we visit!! Thank you Jorge & Daniel!!

Very lively and busy area of town that keeps going late into morning hours with Manu bakeries and Tapas bars within minutes...had to taxi to most attractions closer to the coast, but all cost less than $15eu...property was just as advertised and our host Jorge and Juana were very responsive and caring. Well equipped kitchen and appliances.

The location and status of this property are amazing. The local streets are lines with tree canopies and delicious restaurants. A few steps for the apartment is Gaudi’ Avenue, and views of La Sagrada Familia (just 3-4 blocks away). The apartment has all the conveniences one would need. The host, Jorge, was readily available and kindly courteous. I recommend staying here.

This place in Barcelona is very nice, close to all the restaurants and Sagrada Família ! The place was very clean. The lower bunk bed mattress is a little worn out and needs to be replaced, otherwise highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Barcelona.

Great location
Wonderful location walking distance from metro, restaurants, grocery store, and La Sagrada Familia. Nice to have living room. Kitchen and bedrooms were fine. Two minor downsides were that there was daily construction in apartment building (mid April 2019) that was a little loud, and bathroom smelled bad no matter how much we cleaned it. Overall though, we were glad we stayed. Location couldn’t be beat.

It was a great location near Sagrada Família. There is also a stop for the hop on/off bus right in front of the apartment. We used it several times throughout our stay. Everything was clean and we had everything you could need for a long stay. Jorge was incredibly nice and gave us so many restaurant recommendations. He even offered to pay us back if we didn’t like a restaurant he suggested. 7 Portas is by far the best restaurant, so he has no need to pay us back. He was right! 😁 we would definitely stay here again!

Great homebase for exploring Barcelona and surrounding sights.
We stayed for 8 days, and were very pleased. The master bed is queen-sized, shower/tub has plenty of hot water, large living room with dining area is bright and airy, with two sets of sliders to small balcony. (The first week of October we didn't use the air conditioning, but liked having the fresh air, there was no street noise.) Everything is as pictured, renovated and clean, uncluttered, metro is a block away, and really easy to use to get everywhere. Hosts were very helpful. Definitely recommend it.

Good Location and Great Neighborhood Feel
We enjoyed our stay in Barcelona from this wonderful apartment close to the Sagrada Familia and Metro. Jorge and Daniel were wonderful hosts giving us lots of good information in planning our stay and meeting us on the check-in day as well. They were very flexible as our flight was delayed. Though the rooms are a little small (our two adult sons slept in the bunk beds), we were there only to sleep and shower --- the rest of the time, we were out enjoying beautiful Barcelona! Would be a great property for a family with younger children. Lots of cafes and easy to walk neighborhood.

Nice place
Stayed at Jorge's place in May 2018. Great location that's a 10-15 walk from Sagrada Familia. Their place was very comfortable except for the construction in the apartment above us. Really annoying that it started at 8am every day we were there and was very loud! Balcony was not usable due to the construction. Besides that inconvenience the place was clean, AC worked well, beds were comfortable, kitchen/bathroom were fine. Probably should have more detailed instructions on how to use the washing machine since that was not the easiest to figure out. Overall, a pretty decent place to stay.

The apt was very nice it was clean bright and fresh. The beds were very comfortable!!
We were very happy with the apt itself and the hosts were wonderful... they met us at the apt when we arrived and they gave us great restaurant recommendations!!! the one negative was that the walls were a bit thin and we could hear the neighbors in the am yet they were all in bed early and it was very quiet in the evening. The area was nice! I would defiantly recommend it to a friend.

Great location, 5 mins to La Sagrada Familia
We are a family of five, with three teenage sons, but this apartment was big enough for us with two boys sharing the sofa bed in the bright and airy living room. Great location 3 minutes from St Pau metro station (line 5) and only 5 mins walk to Spain's greatest attraction, La Sagrada Familia. Daniel and Jorges were great hosts, meeting us on arrival and checking everything was ok during our visit. Only one problem... 3 days and 4 nights is not long enough to enjoy Barcelona! I hope we will return...

Thank you for everything we really enjoyed our stay. In the flat the month of July the aircon was much appreciated and the balcony to take in the local residences and real life in Barcelona. Great property, location and customer service
Location of property is good. Close to historic area but far enough away so that it is a bit quieter than being in the heart of the tourist area. Plenty of good restaurants and shopping for basics within steps of apartment. The apartment was clean and modern. Daniel was super helpful, pleasant and just a great host as he checked us in, gave recommendations for restaurants and sites to see and helped with taxis. Highly recommended

Great place for 5 day stay
This apartment is bright and very well stocked with all you need for a lovely stay in a lovely neighborhood- some tourist spots close by, but also away from the mass tourist areas. Around the corner is a great supermarket and across the street is the Hospital St Croce St Pau. Magnificiant place to visit. Of course the not to be missed Sagrada Familia is just a short fun walk past shops and restaurants. Subway is a block away and on the L5 line that connects with so much. The lobby has been described as a little dark but don't let that deter you. The apartment looks like the photos, the staff greet you on arrival, everything is very clean and working. Very happy with our choice. Barcelona is beautiful...
