Friends and family must have given the 10/10 rating! First of all, driving in you notice the large amount of moss on the roof and the need for the house to be painted. It looks like it has not been maintained in a long time. There was no key in the lock box, but property mgmt responded quickly. When we entered, the smell of the house was anything but pleasant. Smells old and who knows what downstairs. They don't vacuum and clean behind the bedroom furniture or underneath. There were tons of cobwebs, found a lighter under the bed, army plastic soldier, and other random things. There were holes in the walls with cobwebs. they should definitely get someone who cleans. Sunflower shells on floor in main room. This was all great things to find on the floor with a one year old in the home. You cannot exit in an emergency from the bedroom located on the map downstairs, as the door is bolted shut. Upstairs was updated and smelled much better, but killed a few spiders. I would NOT recommend this house for the price!

Loved the spacious open concept! Extremely well equipped kitchen and game closet. Easy to walk to town or the beach, even easier to sit outside by the firepit watching the canal and listening to the frogs. Lots of comfy couches inside to hang out and chat, plenty of table room for eating and playing games. We slept 7 adults, ages 55-80, could have easily handled extra kids, everyone had plenty of space! 2 indoor fireplaces, soaker tub, very responsive host when I couldn't figure out how to turn the fireplace on ;). Beyond our expectations!

Definitely the property was under sold. The upstairs has a complete living quarters with complete kitchen to couches, TV, etc. looks to have brand new carpeting and remodel done on the entire upstairs. The downstairs has an old antique feel. However, very clean. Looks to have some upgrades in progress. We had seven adults, Three families total and was able to accommodate all of us very comfortably. Next time we visit Ocean Shores, we definitely recommend staying here. The Owens!!

The beach house was great. A lot of room, and the back yard with dock on the canal and fire pit was great. Lots of great kitchen and living area seating, and great supply of kitchen supplies.
