Great location

Good location. Closer to the town centre Very clean and comfortable house. Would stay there again.

Secret damage deposit you won't get back!

Unfortunately the stay was soured by a non-repayment of a prior to booking undisclosed damage deposit, and the owner of the property has ignored any messages prior to me checking out of the property for return of the payment. Please avoid, people like this should not be allowed to list on booking.com. Bare in mind this was a midweek booking for a business trip so I slept there and not much else.

Potentially could have been a good place for repeat visits but lacking in certain areas

Lock box code sent at check in time. The house was clean and spacious as we were visiting a relative location was excellent, good that we could park off road.

Although the kitchen was equipped so you could cook, there was nowhere to actually eat, really needs a dining table, we had to eat out both nights; as previous people have said could really do with bedside tables/lamps too. The property has beds for 7 people, living room seating does not sit that many, also we found only 1 mug and 1 glass, I queried this but got no reply, had to borrow from my father-in-law. We had paid a security deposit, upon check out I messaged to say we had left and all in good order, expected deposit to be returned quickly, however this took nearly 3 weeks, 5 messages on the app, 1 phone call and one follow up text. Eventually money returned with a message saying owner had family issues, in my opinion not an excuse for not replying to my messages

A true home from home

It really is a home from home, was like being at home tbh. Close to great supermarkets & a 5 min car ride (if that) to the centre of town. Quiet neighbourhood. Couldn’t ask for more

An absolute minor and not an issue at all but lamps in the bedroom would have given it a 20 out of 10. That’s just me though, I’m not keen on the dark but don’t like a bright bedroom at night. Would still stay again without them 💯
