The house is great for a short stay (at least with 5 adults - it would have gotten too cramped if we stayed for a week). We had to rearrange the living room furniture to fit the air mattress as the back room where the laundry is was a bit too warm (no AC back there) for early August. Otherwise it would have been a perfect place for it. Bathroom needs some towel bars or hooks for the towels as there is no real place to hang them (we hung them in the closets). We did bring our dog, but took him on walks vs let him roam the yard. Partly because he needed to stretch his legs when we were around and partly because there is no fence/gate to let him out for a few minutes to do his thing. The neighbors were all friendly, kids were out playing and having fun. We didn't notice a lot of traffic, but we were gone most of the day. Enjoyed the church bells from across the street. Walked to several parks and the Carousel Museum (recommend). If you are in the area for Cedar Point Park, this is pretty close, but not crazy expensive as some other places. Oh, the kitchen could use a larger frying pan. I think the one we found was a 6" pan....hard to make eggs for 5 people with such a small one - but we managed. We were out for lunch and dinner, so only planned to make breakfast. Another note - the beds were all very comfortable and I was impressed that the pillows (at least on the queen, I didn't check the others) had firm pillows, not thin ones.

Couldn’t be the distance/location near Cedar Point and the downtown/restaurants/water. Worked just fine for our 2 night trip to Sandusky. Like previous reviews, the people and street noise was substantial in the master bedroom. But window AC units helped drown out the noise. Not sure the main HVAC did much, tbh. The window units did all the work cooling things down. But made the main area a little stuffy at night when bedroom doors were shut. The air mattress was nice for our son who is too big for the bunk beds. Some little things could help a great deal here. The flow of the kitchen was really strange/backwards, the silverware was not practical, and the only mirror in the whole house is in the bathroom. Just some recommendations to help…a guest book/local restaurant info folder, hooks in the bathroom (there were none), hand towels for bathroom and mirrors in the bedrooms. Definitely ok for what we needed. But could use some simple additions to make it a better stay

Horrible refrigerator, not a good location , and house was not cool enough. Air conditioning barely kept house cool enough. There were a few rooms with random tools and extra conditioners laying around. The

We enjoyed our stay and found the house to be just like the listing. Very clean and plenty of room. The only negative for this property is that the main bedroom was literally right on the street and road noise was loud at times. Probably not much that can be done about that. My only suggestion would be to add mirrors to the two bedrooms. A great house though and a great stay!

I am from Cleveland, was traveling solo and attending a concert in Detroit one night and a local Sandusky event the following. This house was my home base for the weekend and provided everything I was looking for. It was within walking distance of Downtown Sandusky, so very convenient. This house had just the right amount of space and amenities for a my weekend stay. I will certainly return the next time I find myself in the area!
