Cozy and quaint, this adorable beach home is ideal for the family vacation you have been waiting for! This charming property accommodates 12 and is walking distance from the Pismo Beach Dunes. The kiddos can enjoy playing in the Under the Sea themed bedroom while the adults kick back on the ocean view roof deck sipping on an award-winning wine or beer from some of the country’s best wineries and distilleries located here on the central coast.
Whether you decide to BBQ in for a spectacular golden coast sunset dinner with friends and family or eat at one of our amazing restaurants minutes away, there is ample room for a small gathering and plenty of sites to see and things to do! The Pismo, Grover and Oceano beaches extend over 15 miles of gorgeous sand. It's known for its recreational dunes. Come explore The Monarch Butterfly Grove which shelters monarch butterflies that migrate to Pismo State Beach in the cooler months. Atop a rugged bluff, Dinosaur Caves Park has trails with ocean views and a playground. Other green spaces include Chumash Park, with its wetlands, and Margo Dodd Park, on a bluff. Come explore all the hiking trails with panoramic views. The people from the property management company were very good to deal with, however, the property is much smaller than it appears in the listing. For the very high price that we paid, there were almost no amenities, not even any Kleenex. The Living room had one lamp, meaning that only one person could read in the evening. The lighting elsewhere in the house ie equally poor The difference in temperature between the upstairs and downstairs was at least 15°. We never could get the downstairs area warm, so our family all had to shower in the upstairs bathroom. When I mentioned this to the property management company, they brought over a couple of space heaters for the downstairs. The home has only bed sleeping for eight people. The three beds downstairs are very low quality with mattresses that are not very comfortable. When you pay as much as we did for our four nights, you expect a higher quality property. The check in and check out procedure is inconvenient. There is only a one hour window between the check-in time and the time the office closes. We were coming from a long distance and had difficulty making that one hour window. The office is about 15 minutes from the property and is not conveniently located. Fortunately, they didn’t insist that we return the keys back to the property And allowed us to leave them at the property. We were driving in the opposite direction ofmanagement office and would have added another 30 to 45 minutes onto our already lengthy Drive south.
