About this apartment rental

A magnificent penthouse is the culmination of all the exquisite
apartment of Borgo San Pawl. Comprising of 3 -bedrooms, 3-bathrooms and
a full, large terrace with jacuzzi and amazing seaviews of Valletta
Grand Harbour.
Living in Valletta is synonymous to living in an open air museum,
perfect for culture seekers who would truly like to discover this small
but magnificent cosmopolitan peninsular city steeped in history, where
everything is within walking distance.
Housed in a beautiful 17th-century mansion are 6 graceful
apartment-suites all featuring the traditional Maltese Balcony, the
imprint of our Maltese culture and tradition composing bright and airy
apartments. All feature a simple but elegant decor highlighted with
high ceilings and contemporary white finishes and most importantly
served with lift, which is not quite common for Valletta residences.
This stunning Borgo San Pawl is composed over 4 floors, comprising of 2
apartments set on each floor. The impressive, main entrance of this
Borgo is the quintessential of Valletta mansions. It is an embrace of
past and present in one glimpse. This is reflected also in the stunning
spiral, wrought iron staircase that leads to each apartment, for those
who opt out from using the lift.
This magnificent penthouse is the culmination of all the exquisite
apartment of Borgo San Pawl. A rare gem in this city, this penthouse
accommodates six persons comfortably in its three bedrooms,
complemented by three bathrooms for utter comfort.
The first floor is comprised of two bedrooms, a double bedroom, which
comes complete with a quaint Maltese balcony, fully decked out with
table and chairs – perfect for having breakfast in. Another bedroom can
be found upon entering the apartment, a twin one with two single beds.
Both these bedrooms are fully air-conditioned, and enjoy the use of a
family bathroom located on the same floor.
Upon ascending onto the first floor, one finds the main, double bedroom
– a beautifully adorned room embellished with neutral colours to set a
calm aura for a place of rest. This bedroom also has the comfort of
having its own ensuite bathroom, equipped with shower and modern
finishings throughout.
The topmost floor is engulfed by light and is out-shined by the
impressive terrace overlooking Malta's Grand Harbour. The open plan
kitchen/living/dining is characterized by sleek modern furniture,
including pops of colour to contrast with the contemporary neutral
walls. The stylish kitchen is fully equipped, perfect for creating
mouth-watering home-cooked meals. The living area is defined by two
plush 3-seater sofas, which frame the led TV. Another family bathroom
is located just off of this area, equipped with a shower – ideal for a
post-hot-tub wash. The terrace is the main focus of this floor,
flooding the whole area with natural light. On the terrace one may find
outdoor dining facilities, perfect for group meals al fresco. The hot
tub gives the penthouse that additional lush feel, beckoning anyone
with a promise of utmost relaxation. The sun loungers are ideal for
catching up on some rays, perfect for our sweltering Maltese summers.
The view from the terrace is truly breathtaking. The Grand Harbour
shines in all its splendour beneath you, reminding you why the name
'Grand' befits it perfectly.
Access to all the area of the property. The whole property will be
rented, the property is private and not shared with any other tenants.
We will meet you on your arrival and we'll be happy to give you tips
for making your holiday an unforgettable experience. We can also
organise airport transfers.
Valletta has many titles, all recalling its rich historical past. It is
the "modern" city built by the Knights of St John; a masterpiece of the
Baroque; a European Art City and a World Heritage City. Today, it is
one of the most concentrated historic areas in the world.
The city is busy by day, yet retains a timeless atmosphere by night,
that gives the feeling that you are walking back in time. The grid of
narrow streets boasts some of Europe's finest art works, churches and
palaces.
Valletta is abundantly rich in sites to see and explore, intriguing
historical buildings around every corner: votive statues, niches,
fountains and coats of arms high up on parapets. Narrow side streets
are full of tiny quaint shops and cafés, while Valletta's main streets
are lined with larger international branded shops for fashion, music,
jewellery and much more.
The best way to get around and see the most, from your visit to
Valletta, is on foot and although the things to do & see are many, a
good start and definitely not to be missed are Valletta's beautiful
gardens. The Upper Barrakka Gardens, Hastings Gardens & the Lower
Barrakka Gardens are just three of the most popular ones. Apart from
beautiful Baroque churches other places of interest include the various
grandmaster auberges, piazzas & museums.
As in the rest of the country, the restaurant scene in Valletta is an
eclectic mix offering a variety of cuisines to satisfy all tastes and
budgets.
A growing number of eateries around the city are now offering local
fare, serving their own versions of traditional specialities.
Maltese cuisine is the result of a long relationship between the
islanders and the many conquerors who occupied the Maltese Islands over
the centuries. This marriage of tastes has given local gastronomy a
Mediterranean character all its own.
And nowhere is this mixture of culture and cuisne more strongly felt
than in Malta's cosmopolitan capital.
A Bus Stop is close by, only a few metres away from the apartment. No
car is necessary, the apartment is walking distance to any amenity.
For those of you opting to rent a car, parking is free for public use
along the street and the nieghbouring ones. Kindly note that during
certain hours along certain streets in the City parking is at a charge.
Maximum charge of around 6euro daily
Due to cleaning necessities the check-in time for the apartments is
generally 2.00pm and the check-out is at 10.00am however if there are
no arrivals on the same day the apartment can be kept for longer.
Please not that for the weekly price the property includes basic
utilities as per below:
- 100KWh- for 1 bedroom apartment
- 150KWh- for 2 bedroom apartment
- 200KWh- for 3 bedroom/ 4-bedroom apartment
- 300KWh- for villas
We give the above kWh free per week with the apartment which is more
than sufficient . However if the inclusive amount of KWh will be
exceed, an extra charge will apply at a rate of 0. 35c per KWh. Other
than that there are no other hidden expenses or charges.
Also please note that when the monthly rate is selected, the price is
NOT inclusive of any utilities. Those would be paid for as much as one
consumes. Water is charged at a flat rate of 1.10c per day while
electricity it is charged at 35c per kWh paid as much as consumed. The
payment has to be settled on check in.
Cleaning of the property prior the arrival and after departure is
included in the price. Any extra cleaning during accommodation will
incur extra charges. Two sets of towels per person and one set of linen
per bed is also provided by us, then it is up to one's discrepancy to
wash them as much often as desired.
Apartment also available for long term booking of 6 months period
maximum with a monthly rate, in such case utilities will not be
included in the rate. Please do ask for quote should you be interested
Please note that the rental price does not include the Environmental
Contribution tax, introduced on June 2016 amounting to €0.50c per night
up to a maximum of €5 for each continuous stay in the Maltese Islands.
This applies for 18-year-old and older.
