We are surrounded by numerous lakes, amazing adventure opportunities, outstanding day-trips and some of the best golfing Michigan has to offer. Perfect for families, groups of couples, golf foursomes and more. Every room has an ensuite bathroom for privacy and convenience. You can't beat the amazing lake view from the deck after a long day out adventuring.
Highland Lodge is situated on over 80 explorable acres and less than a mile from Torch Lake. The 4bd/5ba log home sleeps 11 and is well suited for groups or families. The lodge sits atop one of the highest points on the property and offers stunning views of Torch Lake as well as Grand Traverse Bay. Welcoming golfing groups, adventure seekers, outdoors enthusiasts, nature lovers or those just looking to get away from it all.
The property boasts several trails that will have you wandering high and low. While not for the faint of heart, these trails offer a wonderful opportunity for guests to hike around the beautiful terrain. Venturing around the property you’ll come across sand dunes, ponds, local wildlife and winding creeks. The small waterfalls and rambling waters of Carol’s Creek offer some of the most serene sounds in nature.
Inside Highland Lodge you will find just about everything you need in a home away from home. The fully equipped kitchen features stainless steel appliances and is stocked with all of your cooking needs. Each bedroom has a king bed (master has a king plus two roll away beds) as well as its own full bathroom. The fourth bathroom has an attached laundry room with a full sized washer and dryer. On the covered porch, you’ll find a grill and patio furniture to enjoy dinner or drinks outside.
The newly added fourth bedroom is in the upstairs studio apartment. It has a queen bed, full bathroom with a large shower and custom vanity, a mini fridge/freezer and TV. You'll also have access to the beautiful sunroom with a twin sized swing bed and lounging chairs as well as the upper deck of the home for even better views of the lakes and land.
End the day around the fire roasting marshmallows and sharing stories while enjoying picturesque views as the sun sets over the lakes.
*Access to Torch Lake is less than a mile down a seasonal drive where you can hand launch kayaks, canoes, SUPs and swim.
*Boaters-there is ample parking for boat trailers on the property and the boat launch is less than four miles away.
*There is so much to do and see in the surrounding areas - golfing, orchards, vineyards, waterways, quaint downtowns, state parks and more!

A Ring Video Doorbell is located on the main entrance door frame and a Ring Spotlight Cam is located above the deck door. They are used to monitor the exterior entrances of our home. Footage remains private and may be used for liability reasons, to monitor occupancy and ensure house rules are followed. They in no way infringe upon the expectation of privacy in these public areas. To disable or obscure the cameras is prohibited and may result in eviction without refund.
