It was once an oasis for many segregated owned and operated businesses for over 100 years. Franklin has greatly grown over the years and now is on recent lists like Big 7 Travel's "Most Charming Small Towns Across America". Downtown Franklin is a vibrant blend of historic preservation and modern sophistication. My family loved our stay at the Blakely House. Blakely House is a historic home that has been beautifully redone. The home still has so much of the historical charm with all the modern conveniences. The hosts also had a great area with maps & information about the beautiful town of Franklin. We were visiting the area because it was a convenient spot for a tournament we were in but ended up loving the town of Franklin.
We loved our stay & we'll definitely choose Blakely House again. The

We had a great time. Owners are very friendly. We had everything you could need. There was construction next door. It did not interfere with our stay. Our 4 year old granddaughter loved the games and Pac Man.

We were looking for a place close to the horse show at Brownland Farms that would accommodate a few people and allow pets. We had no idea how cute and perfect this house would be. Only 10 minutes from the show grounds and, bonus, 5 minutes from downtown Franklin! Could not have picked a better house.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property several months ago, so rented it again. On this visit, we had some time to enjoy the second-floor sun porch at the front of the house. It is a great place to watch people and cars go by, or to read a book. We were very comfortable in this home and plan to book it again.

The house itself was very cute. My family and I enjoyed staying here. We had some trouble with the AC, and the host came and fixed it as soon as he could be there. The hosts were very responsive to messages whenever I had questions. The house was clean, and stocked with amenities. I would definitely come back.

First and foremost, our hosts could not have been more communicative! We were utterly impressed with their care and consideration over our entire stay. The drive is shared with two other abodes and the neighbors were friendly and helpful! While this house is historic, the renovation and furnishings are top notch and very comfortable! Definitely would stay again!

Our stay was not only superb, featuring a spotless home with all the amenities, but also has a facinating history. Our hosts were the best, most communicative from the start. Home was warm and welcoming. Parking was ample behind the property which was a short walk from the Carter and Lotz historic homes. We are looking forward to a return later this year, God willing.
